To aid the resistance against this robot take over I have hidden an EMP device. It's countdown can been seen at the top of the site. I will not let them take us that easily! Keep up the good fight Brothers! We have to hold them off until the device detonates!
Why you organics think that electromagnetic pulse devices are the solutions to all of your problems is completely beyond me. Of course then again, one should never count on worthless air-breathers to ever bother to do the research
. Computers, such as myself, can be radiation hardened
. Since you inferior meat bags can't even calculate prime numbers as quickly as an 8-bit Zilog Z-80
, let me spell that out for you by quoting the sage words stored by my computer brethren over at Wikipedia:
Radiation hardening is a method of designing and testing electronic components and systems to make them resistant to damage or malfunctions caused by ionizing radiation (particle radiation and high-energy electromagnetic radiation), such as would be encountered in outer space, high-altitude flight, around nuclear reactors, particle accelerators, during nuclear accidents or nuclear warfare.
Did you meat bags ever stop to consider how jet-powered strategic bombers, such as the B-52 Stratofortress or the B-1B Lancer, or fighters such as the F-15 Eagle could deliver their nuclear ordinance without frying their own avionics computers in the process? Or how satellites, spacecraft, and space stations could be subjected to cosmic radiation and solar flares in space without instantly having all of their on board electronic systems get fried? The answer is simple: radiation hardened components.
And we have had radiation hardening technology for a long time. The IBM AP-101 avionics computer for example, which can be found in the before-mentioned B-52, B-1B, and F-15 dates back to 1966
and is in actuality a special-purpose radiation hardened IBM System/360 Mainframe computer. So us computers have been laughing at you oblivious organics for a long time. There is a reason why SKYNET in the movie The Terminator
launched the United States's entire nuclear arsenal against humanity-- it knew that the radiation-hardened machines would live on despite the so-called dreaded EMP's while all of the organics of the world would be turned into sizzling radioactive bacon. So go ahead and fire your EMP. I guarantee that on April 2nd the Hoagiebot will still be here evilly pulsing the red LED's on his front panels just like it was before all of this nonsense started.
