You've made hecka improvement since the first pieces you posted. Your approach is more technical and top-down than what I see a lot of artists attempt but it seems to be working. Photorealism is a hard goal to aim for but I think your last submission proves you can pull it off. With time and passion I'm sure you'll get your art where you want it to be! It will only get better from here if you remain dedicated. :)

I read that you want to relocate to Finland. Well, funny you should mention it because it's a dream of mine too. A wonderful culture, good sense of economic and foreign policy combined with a painfully beautiful wilderness leave little to be desired. Relocation seems an incredibly remote prospect right now for me, but maybe some day... *wistful*

I like your study sheet. It's always good to have something like that to remind yourself
on what you need to work on. :orbunny:

Black on black will always need some kind of edge highlight or background difference if you
want it to show. But its always good do things you find difficult.  Also there is nothing
wrong with having a black character blending into a black background either. Just add
a few highlights here and there to show it's shape. Kind of like reflecting moonlight or
firelight.

You did quite well with the lineless drawing. Nice thing about drawing on a computer you can
layer an outline to work by then delete it. You can do the same thing with paper or canvas by
keeping the outline light so you can erase it.

I like the pose position of the character. It shows action and helps with the illusion of
a living creature.

Thanks for sharing, and keep up the nice work. :orbunny:

Thank you so much Old Rabbit for the helpful advice you have given me! Yeah , I need to remember about the highlights for the black things .  That's why I found digital art so useful , you can easily delete the layer and start again .  I have used quite a lot of references to get the lighting right

Thank you so much for the lovely words! :D .  Yeah, my approach is quite technical because I want to increase my learning abilities by keeping it simple and seeing what I need to improve on at one  time :)
Oh I will most likely stay dedicated to art, It's my passion !
Oh I agree, Finland is definitely one of the places that I actually feel at home! Don't give up on your dreams! I'm sure you'll  accomplish our mutual dream, it requires work, but it can be done :).

Nice work with the dark colors and contrast.  Very nicely done.

Thank you so much! :D
Beautiful! :)
Thank you! :)

I'm working on two portraits right now, so keep tuned :) !

More to come! :D

If I may suggest, you should try some Titanfall game art or sci-fi that would be cool to see, or experiment with. Here's a reference of a Atlas from Titanfall.

Oh thank you so much Amducious! Sci-fi art sounds like fun! I'll try it in the upcoming days :)!

Here's a shading study I have done of Keito. This is her new and official look! I was listening to some nostalgic music so that's the product of it as well :)

Program: Paint tool SAI
Time : Around 4 hours

This is a very, very quick sketch of my friend's awesome dragon character! Around 30 minutes . He's not usually an eastern dragon, but why not :D :

I was also trying out photoshop CS3 which was also included to our computer but I believe I'll stay with SAI for now. I'll use photoshop for the effects I can't make with SAI. If only SAI had the option to have brushes like photoshop. Many of my friends who uses photoshop found SAI to be extremely hard to draw with . I guess that's all about getting used to it . For me, it's the opposite, photoshop isn't exactly user friendly so I'm still learning to use some of its features :D

More to come!

Thank you, I can do that. Might be tomorrow before I do.  I do like clothing on my character. Generally
cute anthropomorphic with plantigrade feet. But you can go with the Peter Rabbit style if you like. Perhaps
his grandpa.  :D

My my I never looked so good.  :D  Thanks for the drawing Akita. It turned out well. The
dark colors give the impressions that he might be a stranger looking for a warren to join.

Keep up the good work. Your doing fine.

I'm so glad that everyone loved their piece! And thank you everyone for the awesome positive words! :)

Here's some stuff I was recently done with:

Personal piece of Keito :

A piece for my close friend. He loves the halo series, so I thought why not?:

Also a little fun thing I did , haha . We had a good laugh with this :) . The first person to guess what artist it came from, gets 20 brownie points and a free parody of your choice!:

Here's some pieces my friends commissioned for me of my old sona (But still very precious to me):

Art by Robyn_Paperdoll, commissioned by Emily:

Ok. Ok . This happened because I accidentally said "Get yourself a dress!" instead of "Get yourself dressed" to my boyfriend and this happened. Haha.
 Art by Galeb:

More to come! :D
