Currently I'm working on a mix media project for my drawing class at school and I need help with drawing/coloring fur with colored pencils. And I need help with how to put a deep cut in the fur with blood too. Could anyone help?

I haven't done a whole lot of work with color pencil, so others might be able to help you better. However, the biggest thing about working with color pencil (in case you don't already know) is that it's important to work from the light. What I mean it, you have to leave areas for highlights and so forth. It's very hard to lighten an area once it has had a darker color.
