Looking for a font for a picture I'm planning. I'd like something a bit splattery, still readable, with a sort of abraisive feel to it, that would look good in a bold black. Any reccomendations, links, or ideas of a font already in Photoshop Elements 3.0 I could use? Any and all help is appreciated.

For a painting?  I'd suggest using the mouse (a touchpad works best.)  You'd be surprised at how you can get it -- and it's still all you, without going to a premade font.  I don't think any widely recognized fonts would do you any artistic justice.

Just draw the letters broadly and freely, on a layer of their own (or a separate large image,) then scale them down.  (Fun to play with to -- stretching & squashing bits of your test.)

Going for a splattery look, I'd use a 95% smudge around your letters (before you shrink them,) first with a medium brush, then with a tiny one to add little stray-ink strokes.

Playing around with text on your own will give you a lot more than a font will.  Even if you've got a lot of text -- it's worth it!

Great place for fonts, if you feel like being lazy and not drawing your letters yourself.  If a warning suddenly appears that an error has occured and the browser needs to be shut down, just move the warning aside and keep browsing through the site.  The browser WILL close if you acknowledge the warning, but until then you can continue to browse with no noticable difference.
