I wasn't sure wether this belonged in General Furry, Furry Lite, or Writing Technique.  Sorry if I guessed wrong.

For those of you that play Neopets, I probably don't need to explain what the Neopian Times is.  Anyway, I've been playing NP long enough that I have a long list of gripes with the system, but rather than just gripe, I've decided to do something constructive with them.

What I'm doing is writing a series which I plan to submit to the Neopian times.  The focus is on a typical NP player who, for reasons uknown, finds himself living among his neopets in Neopia.  The focus, however, will be mostly on how some of the things gamers do on a ho-hum basis like get free omelette or robbing the snowager suddenly become back-breaking and often stressfull tasks in realtime.  In other words, it's more of a parody than an actual plot-oriented series.

So... The reason I'm writing about it here is because I think comedy is more enjoyable when the subject is something the reader can relate to.  My goal in posting this, therefore, is to let you talk about any common gripes about NP, and especially about what you wish you could just do to fix it (especially if "leap into the screen" is part of it).  Anything someone quotes and writes "I agree" to, I'm going to try and write about.

Im going to but it in Lite. but another mod may move it to writing. Its technicly not furry....


And I used to play NP but gave up on it since is seems to be mostly one giant ad campaine.

I used to make sites like that. I'll do it again one day, but I lost everything in the great reformat of '04.

Not that I could ever compete with the place. But if anyone decides to start a virtual pet system for furries, without all that blasted commercialisation.. turn to me, I have a few hints to shove around  '>

Moved to non-furry discussion. I thought about the writing section but that is more for learning to write for furry stories and other related topics. Not too sure where this would actually be but it is non-fur related.

Have fun with the idea. I have never played NP.
