"Bah." The archmage spun and closed his eyes. immediately Saragath and the other mage ran to him. "Saragath, go to your master quick we need the gem. LIthor, get all of the mages in the city, we will need them." He began waving his hands, not even noticing his wounds. The city stopped falling and the shield repaired itself. "Oh and Saragath, get that Tundaran to help you, and the portal is down." Saragath nodded and ran out to catch up with Tundra.

Tundra stopped near the entrance of the hall, the city had stopped falling, which meant that things were starting to get better. Snarling at himself he turned around to meet Saragath and said ,"What can I do to help?"

"We have to get to the capital fast. We need to ask the king to create another crystal, and this archmage needs to fully concentrate on holding the city up. All of the other mages need to help him, the crystal doesn't really hold it up, it more... allows the archmage to not focus all of his time on the magic required." Saragath kept running towards the hanger, and jumped off of the edge of the city. He blew his whistle and Larkan flew out from his roost to catch him. Saragath waited for Tundra to catch up.

Tundra followed quickly and ran to the carrier, quickly jumping into his fighter as he began powering it up.  Within moments it leapt from the carrier and followed after Saragath.

Saragath flew for the rest of the day, and as the sun began to go down he landed in a clearing. He stuck his staff into the ground at his feet and a small shield spread out to encompass the clearing.
