(( OOC: I'm gonna' go ahead and get the ball rolling. ))
The last light of sunset had faded many hours ago, and it was only now that the bow of the ship touched dock. The lines were tied, and orders were issued. Only two pairs of boots touched down upon the dock, one belonged to a rather handsome white tiger, and the other to a dependable looking jackal. The tiger smiled at the sight of Torngale, and continued on his way into town.
He was well dressed to say the least, handsome, and obviously repsected. Golden eyes sat behind the snow white muzzle, and many brass hoops adorned his ears. A large floppy hat sat atop his head, and many trinkets were upon his form. Bracelets, rings, pendants and the like. A cutlass sat on his left side, and a long dagger upon the other. He strode into town confidently, with business to attend.
His ally, the dutiful looking jackal beside him, was dressed in a similar fashion, but less showy. His fur was that of deep reds and browns, and he wore a good looking black leather vest with a white tunic beneath it. A bladed flail was tucked in his belt, as was a whip. His look, was definitely more feral, and less comforting.
The white tiger wore a rich looking tunic of red silk upon his chest, and brown leather pants over his legs. These were well taken care of it seemed, and everything about him gave off a rich feel.
Both men strode towards the nearest tavern, the Blackwater, right on the fringe of the dock, with business in mind.

A large fishermans ship was docking as the men aboard finished pulling up the nets.
The men were pulling at the sails and pulling them down, for it looked like some heavy weather was coming about. The captain was a squirrel, he wasnt to rich or too poor, just making a living. He was at the wheel, just finishing giving out orders.
And standing up on the crows nest, only holding onto the mast by a little as to not fall was a woman. A wolf, A Timber Wolf at that with dark hair that came to her mid back, black in the dark, but when in the light it shows off reds and purples among taht black.
She wore a slight line of black paint around her gorgeous greena nd yellow eyes. But on her body she wore a wine colored shirt with a coat to match one of the dark browns in her fur, this coat came down her her knees, her pants, well they were black, as were her boots.
She had no...visible...weapons on her..
She slid down the mast just as the men finished folding up the sails and the boat reached the dock.
"Thanks a bunch Mere!" she called to the captain.
He nodded with a respond of "Any Time Loni, Any Time!" he smiled and then turned to his crew as one of them dropped something heavy and chipped the ships surface.
Loni laughed and shook her head as she made her way over to the closest tavern. The sign read The BlackWater

The white tiger stepped inside without much notice, his jackal companion not far behind him. He nodded his head at a few people as they turned towards him, but no one really payed any mind. He soon reached the bar, and grinned at the keeper who, once he realized who he was, wilted under his gaze. "Niru, I thought you were dead." The white tiger smiled, "Dead? Well, that would be quite fortunate for you wouldn't it? You'd have three more ships that belong to you and one very pushy benefactor out of your way." The bartender, a lean looking ferret, seemed to be silently searching for a way out, and as quickly as possible.
The jackal grinned at his fear and spoke towards Niru, the white tiger, "Bit of a flower ain't 'e? Jus' a lil' puff o' wind get's his whiskers in a knot." "Indeed." responded the tiger with a smile. It was a cold look, his fangs as white as untouched snow, with a bluish glint in any firelight. "Why don't we take a walk Sirin? I'm sure we have much to catch up on." The ferret gulped and trembled slightly, "Niru it wasn't me, I swear. Ratcha was tired o' your games, he came in here time after time, kept harassing me. You gotta' believe me!"
"Oh I believe you old friend." said Niru in a develishly comforting tone, but his face quickly turned grim and serious, "Or else you'd already be dead." Sirin the ferret was as still as stone as Niru continued, "Now, I want you to do a little work for me Sirin. I want you to keep an eye out for that Ratcha and his crew. Don't tell him you saw me, but you better make sure to note every mother's son who's with him, savvy?" "S-s-savvy." mumbled out Sirin. Niru instantly became kindly looking again with a warm, tempting smile, "Good." he then turned to the jackal, "Rawbone, head back to the Morrowhawk, set a sentry guard, then let the rest of the men off on leave. Send guards back through the hours, make sure everyone has time ashore. I want a happy crew by morning Rawbone, got it?" "Aye cap'n." the jackal saluted and then departed to take care of his orders.
Niru turned back to Sirin with a wicked smile, "Take care my old friend, we'll be meeting again shortly." With that said he departed, slipping outside as easily as he came in, taking in the salty sea air in one breath, "Ah, nothing like the ocean breeze on a dark night." he stood, arms tucked behind his back, admiring the blackened waters. Lamplight flickered off it's surface, and made it look alive as he stood there, a satisfied smile on his alluring features.

Loni headed into the tavern, a few heads turned at a woman in mens clothing, but she merely glared a bit and they averted their glance. But she was about to ask the bartender for a drink when she noticed two men speaking with him. The man seemed dead scared, about to piss himself actually. Loni smirked at this.
But she noticed the jackal leave and then soon after the tiger as well.
Once they were gone she found a woman, the woman she was looking for...her dearly beloved cousin...a fox, but still blood....
She first bussied heself with the frightened bartender "If you dont piss yourself first id like some ale...." she told him with her eyes narrowed slightly
He jumped slightly "Uh..yes...yes, r-right away miss..." he was quick...probably still shook up from what those men said. He handed her the mug, she flipped him a coin and then headed over to the woman.
As Loni aproached the table the fox looked up and grinned. "Ah...if it isnt the....girl? ah yes..thats right..you are a girl under those...rags..." she said rudely. She as it were, was wearing a fancy dress of green and white, much to nice for a tavern, but then again she had a bodyguard with her, a rhino with a large sword at his belt was standing by her table.
"Ah...and if it isnt the wench in the riches clothing? How are you my witch? Its been far too long." Loni said sarcasticly with sweetness.
The fox only smiled back forcfully. "So...what brings you to my side of town? Buying some chickens? Wait no...you probably couldnt aford that.." she said cocking her head with a small bat of the eyelashes and a smile
Loni laughed slightly "No no, i was just wondering if this dress you conjured up was stolen, or possibly a spell...well...either would suit you wouldnt it?" Loni asked. The Fox was pissed, it was plain to see...
The Foxes voice changed, to serious and annoyed. "What do you really want?" she asked rudly
"Just to see what you have done with my nephew...wheres Amaroo?" Loni asked in a hushed and htreatening voice, her paw was in a fist now.
The Fox laughed "My son and YOUR little nephew is where he belongs..." she said heartlessly in a hushed voice as well
"And where would that be...witch" Loni said VERY threateningly, her fangs were bared and anger was plain on her face. The fox was frightened, but tried to hide it
"You filthy wench, i would never tell you...he deserves to die..and soon...he will.." she said cruelly in a sweet manner
"You touch him...and you die...i swear on my fathers grave that i WILL kill you witch..." Loni said standing, for she knew that her cousin would not tell her the location of her beloved nephew amaroo.
The Fox grinned and crossed her arms across her chest.
"Jason.." she said to the rhino, his ears perked up and he turned to them "Please escort this kind sir outside..heh...im sorry...this...wench...outside...." she grinned and then smiled.
"I wont forget this scarlett....you can count on it..." Loni swore, the rhino went to grab her arm but loni was to quick for him, she snatched her arm away and glared at him. "I know the way out big boy." She bared her teeth slightly and then turned on her heel and walked out, slamming the tavern door behind her and throwing the mug of ale that she still clutched in her hand at the slammed door in an angered passion.

Niru was just about to be on his way when he heard a door slam and a rather nasty shattering sound. He turned slowly and saw a rather odd looking wolf, dressed none too richly. It was only after a few moments of analyzing that he realized she was a woman. "Well, now, what have we here." he said to himself softly, a smile forming on his lips.
He approached her slowly, making sure that she was aware of him, not wanting to catch her off guard. He smiled politely and removed his hat as he made an elegant leg of a bow in her direction, "Pardon my intrusion m'lady but, I couldn't help but hear the commotion. Perhaps you are in need of asisstance?" Niru put on his most elegant air and made sure he sounded sincere, never would do good to scare her off. Why was she dressed like that, he wondered. And what could this possibly mean for him... He did have time to kill, and if there was money to be made, by jove, he would find it.

She looked at him and noted his bow. She scoffed slightly "I doubt you COULD help me kind sir." She said politly back.
"that wench is probably gone by now..out the back most likely...damn i should have stayed and forced her to tell me..." she said under her breath, mostly speaking to herself as she was looking down and had her paw to her chin as she thought aloud.
She then noticed she was indead speaking aloud and looked around as some folks were staring at her. She merely glared at one and the rest looked away.

Niru remained unmoved, and a wider smile formed what with the wolf's voiced mental notes, "I am becoming more and more convinced m'lady, that, in my own great wisdom, you will have need of me. Now what is this precarious predicament you have seemed to entangle yourself in? I have a strong feeling, that if anyone can help you, it is I." Though he was being honest, the way he delivered his speech was rather pompous and arrogant. Still he grinned, those pearly ghost-blue fangs shining in the lamplight. His strange, alluring eyes showing his interest and cunning nature.

She looked at him with a smirk on her face. is he showy or what she thought to herself
"and do i need to pay you kind sir?" she asked with a tilt of her head and her arms crossed beneath her chest.
Someone had passed by with a lamp and the reflection of the light glittered for a moment in Loni's eyes, so it seemed that they glowed a green yellow for a split second.

(( OOC: Shops are open at night. '> So yeah. ^^ ))
"Pay?" Niru said as though the thought had never crossed his mind, "Who said anything about pay? I merely asked if you were in need of asisstance." his grin widened. He picked up a paw and leaned it on the edge of the dock anchor, "Besides, pay is so dirty a word, I like to think of it more along the lines of, donations so a poor sailor like myself will be able to keep clothing on my back." He smiled again and tilted his head slightly before continuing, "Now, what's your trouble m'lady, hasn't been a woman yet I couldn't help in one way or another."

She smiled slightly but then her face hardened. "Can you find a child? Someone destined to die by the hands of his own mother? One who cannot be find by any ordinary meens? For he might be dead, dying, or driven insane? One who, might not veen be in our demension?" she asked through slightly gritted teeth.
Speaking this way and finally letting this out had brough unwanted tears to her eyes. She held them back though. She could not and WOULD not cry in front of someone she hardly knew, let alone in a crowd where many a furrs could witness her.
She she held them back.

Niru's eyes hardened slightly and his demeanor became more serious, "Not in this dimension?" he said softly. He scratched his chin reflectively and spent a moment in thought. "As for finding things," his smile returned, "we can find just about anything." his face became serious once more, "But as for being in another dimension, I believe we'll have to find an old friend of mine, come." He turned on his heels and began heading towards the heart of the city, not even turning around to see if the woman would follow him.

Loni narrowed her eyes at him, but felt she must trust him to some degree if she was to find Amaroo. After standing and thinking a bit she gave up and followed. Jogging a bit to keep up she was walking at his side. She just noticed he was taller than she was.
"Tell me, can this man help me?" she asked

Niru grinned and returned his hat to it's position atop his head, "It's not a man we're speaking of, love." he said softly, cocking his head slightly so he could look at her. He continue leading her into town, once they reached the Square, he took a less used side-street. This street seemed to get darker with each new step that was taken. It was as if some country border had been passed, the bazaars were littered about, and the people were strange looking. Everything about it had some sort of dark, strange feel, but Niru continued on without doubt.
It wasn't until he reached a small ramshackle house that he stopped, a flat expression on his face, "She lives here. Let me ask you a question first, what would you do to get this child back?" his eyes stayed focused upon the house as he asked it, awaiting a response like a stone statue.

Loni felt her past well up as she entered this darker area of the town. Her darker feelings were being brought back. noo...i can hold it...i wont fall again.. she struggeled with her mind, she held her hand to her heart and was not paying attention to anything until the tiger spoke.
Then she came back to herself. "Sir...Ive been to hell and back... I can, have, and WILL do anything..to get him back.."

The tiger turned to look at her with a devilish smile, "Then there will be no problems." with that said he entered the home, naught but a silken curtain hanging where the door should be.
The house was strange, an icy chill ran through the entire place. Beads on strings hung in many places; pelts, sinews and brassenware littered the area. It was dark and cold, very cold. Strangely cold for such a place. Niru led on without much thought, paying no mind to the strange stones and shells that covered the tables. He stepped through another doorway and awaited Loni to follow. He then turned and watched her enter, to see what sort of creature sat before the both of them.
In the shadows of the room a small figure could be made out. There was a small oaken table and behind it sat some sort of strange feral beast. Her head was shaped like a wolverine's, but her claws were more like talons, and her tail held a reptilian form to it. Horns adorned her head and her teeth curved like a serpent's fangs. The creature sat, silent and still, watching the pair as they entered. It's eyes glinted a primal green, and the beast turned to Niru with a smile, "Niru of the Icefang, how I've wondered when you would return."
Charms, beads and severed body parts made up most of her clothing. On the table before her, died in some sort of red paint, lie a strange patter. Many shells, bones and stones lay around the pattern in a symmetrical shape. Her glinting eyes averted towards Loni, her stare cold as winter's ice as she spoke to her, "Why should I help you with this child, Loni? What have you to offer me?"
Niru smiled, "No questions for me?" he asked in an amused fashion. The strange woman turned to him and grinned with those sick curved fangs, "I'll get to you next Nirusuman." The tiger's smile faded and he looked towards Loni, somewhat glad he did not need to reply yet.

Loni's brows rose as this woman spoke what no one told her, how could she know all these things? but yet, loni had dealt with her kinda before, a man, not the same in looks, but with skill, yes yes....that was the same.
Loni stood more into the room and looked at the woman. "...He is all I have...And I am all he has..we are both outsiders and need eachother. He's like a son to me...." she said railing off a bit. What could she offer her? she thought on this a bit.
She reached into her coat and withdrew a stone, a stone the color of blood. The stone could fit in her palm, it was about the size of a golf ball, in a complete sphere, it looked like lightning was inside it, a cloud f it, that would emit this lighteing every few seconds.
She placed the stone on the table in front of the woman. "A very powerful blood demons immortal soul is trapepd in there. Merely shatter the crystal completly and he will be released."she explained

The woman smiled, sickly curved fangs showing themselves. She reached out and held the stone, "Fair trade." she said quietly. She then turned to Niru, "And what of you pirate? What have you to offer?" Niru faltered, "Er, pirate marm? I beg your pardon but I'm not-" The woman waved her hand passively, "Truth is what hurts us the most tiger, learn to accept what ye are. Now, what have you for me this time? A trade must be payed in full, yes?" Niru frowned, in high bad humor. He reached into a belt pouch and pulled a small vial free. He handed it to the woman reluctantly, "I was saving that for desperate times." The woman grinned wickedly, "Pheonix Blood, I imagine you were corsair." Niru rolled his eyes, "Is it satisfactory?" She nodded, "'Tis, now, listen to me carefully children..."
"This boy of yours, from what I have seen and heard he is not yet out of your reach. In fact, this woman you despise, she is prideful and very overconfident. Arrogance, as they say is downfall to many a man...but women suffer it as well one would realize." the woman smiled and continued, "She holds him captive, for captive he is, his freedom and childhood are questionable. You will need this man's help if you are to reach him, for he is skilled in other things than flattery." Niru rolled his eyes again, but the woman continued, "But hearken to me young one, danger lies on the path. Deals have been struck, and a soul is the price...a young soul. You should reach your boy as quickly as possible, before the red moon rises... If you are late-" she tipped a small hourglass over, forcing the sand to move, "-his time will have already run out..." her eyes closed, and she seemed to fall into a deep trance.

Loni made a slightlyamused hmpf noise when the woman told the tiger he was a pirate. She gave a smile. But then the bussiness took away her smile, she was intent and listening completly.
She nodded to herself as the woman went into a type of trance.
She was quiet though, not knowing if she should speak or not.

Niru heaved a sigh of both relief, and stress, "Well," he said quietly towards Loni, "we won't be getting much more out of her, this is the sign to leave..." he turned his back and began on his way out, sure Loni would follow him.
The streets were still dark, and all life seemed to stop on that one corner. Niru shook his head and looked towards Loni, "I hope you have found out all it is you needed to know, hm? She speaks in riddles, but there is much information there one must realize."

Niru chuckled softly and cocked his head towards Loni, "I told you she speaks in riddles. When she says "he is not yet out of your reach" she means here, in this region. Hell, maybe even this town. Somewhere close to paw. Then she said she was overconfident and prideful, this means this woman, whoever she is to you, is taking many risks that shouldn't be taken. Risks a man like me, could easily overcome. She might have him out in the open somewhere because she believes there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Now lets see...what else did she say."
Niru looked towards the night sky and thought a moment, then turned towards Loni, nodding, "That's right, the thing about the red moon and all that." he then gave Loni a curious look, "Mind if I ask what she meant by "a soul being the price" was she talking about the child? What is this woman doing?"

(I'll join...got nothing better to do and I love roleplaying)
A shadowy figure was leaning on a wall nearby the white tiger and the wolf. He was wearing a tattered black cloak. He was a pure white wolf, and he was listening in on every aspect of the conversation. underneath his cloak, he was wearing a black leather vest that fit a little tightly, black leather greaves, and a long black scarf. He seemed to just appear out of nowhere. He remained silent, and wondered if one of them would speak to him. He didn't really care if they did or not, because to him, they were both marks. This wolf followed the trade of Shadowthief, which most people didn't even believe existed. He simply waited and watched, his icy blue eyes giving off a strange soft glow.

"He is her SON....and shes a betraying black witch whos in league with satan.....she owns his soul.....it was his choice to give it to her...but he was tricked..and so was i..." she said in a slightly quieted voice. She pushed her dark hair back with her paw to get it out of her face.
She was to concentrated at thinking that she didnt even notice the hiding wolf.

Niru had returned his gaze towards the stars, it was no wonder he spotted the wolf out of the corner of his eye. He had the idea to let his hand stray to his cutlass, but thought better of it. Keeping his gaze skyward Niru spoke out towards the wolf, "Nice night eh, friend? Dark as pitch out here, makes the stars seem brighter."
Niru hoped the wolf would come out and speak to them, and hopefully nothing ill would come of it. Still, the tiger wanted desperately to hold the hilt of his blade in his paw. But he kept that want at bay for now.
