Jason charged, and dilivered a punch to Felis' face, and smirked as he did so. Something flared in his eyes. Maybe he had a chance...

"Now's my chance!" Felis thought to himself as he delivered the quickest punch he could as he saw his opponent raising his paw. He slammed his fist forward, diving right towards the foxes cranium as the fox ran his paw towards Felis's face.

Jason's fist hit Felis, and Felis's fist hit him, knocking him out. He hit the ground, and laid there not moving, unconsious

The foxes fist slammed into Felis's face, and sent him back. He was out like a light, also unconcious and limp. He laid flat on his back as if he were dead. James had watched the whole thing. He was surprised, he expected a huge annihilation of the fox, but he gave Felis one hell of a fight.

James was mostly surprised at how fast the fight went and the outcome. After a few moves, both opponents had nocked each other out! James ran onto the battle field and crunched next to his friend. He grabbed the cat by the face and turned his head around, opened an eyelid, felt his pulse, he was out cold. Then James had an evil idea, what if he killed the fox opponent in his sleep! Jason the fox was as vulnerable and defenseless as a newborn cub being down and out, and there where no rules against it. James eyed the fox and bit his lip with temptation, but also uneasiness. He had never taken a life before. 

Shade had watched, slightly impressed. Sure was over quick. When James ran out, then seemed hesitant over something, Shade read the obvious idea displayed on James' face. He moved up quietly. "Don't, you lack the resolve to go through with it. You are no killer."

Kael may I ask you redo your post please? How would Kael read his thoughts or know what he was thinking when he doesnt have telepathy please fix or adjust it ty]

He read his face, body language. He didn't hide it. But will mod...

[I would not intervene or even read it. Shade is a killer. ergo, he knows what first-timers look like. The hesitancy and lip-bite was the tell. But revenge is vague, so he wouldn't read it.]

James let his paws fall to the floor, giving up. The cat was right, he couldn't kill anyone, especially another kid like him. The wolf stood, he didn't want to do it anyway... He mumbled to himself "Mi crompende..." he understood, he couldn't kill, but he would in this tournament.

Mikhail sipped his wine as he watched the fight begin, yet in what seemed to be the biggest disappointment was that it ended in a few mere moments that he threw his glass to the side shattering it on the ground "It seems to me...Vince you failed me." he looked at him as he began to stand up "You picked a person who can barely fight yet alone take a mere punch to the face? Tsk...and you are very rare in disappointing me Vince." he looked at the winner of the fight "Congrats do try to drag the next fight out." he watched as the husky went out onto the battlefield ready to fight..yet he gave up so fast he looked towards the husky "I assume that is your friend on the ground..he disappointed me I have high hopes for you...Maria told me a bit about you...hopefully you wont disappoint me cause then that means she failed me as well."


As Vince watched the match end fast he heard Mikhail get angry with him and bowed "I am sorry boss...I thought I picked the right fighter...he fought outside with a gang member and left him bloody, perhaps he just got lucky is all." he watched as Maria walked out onto the battlefield "If another person fails to live up to your expectations boss I'll deal with them all personally."

Maria walked up behind James as he was angry before placing a hand on his arm when he settled some "You need to...relax..anger clouds the mind however you shouldnt worry about him..yet you should worry about him." she motioned to the cat who said he didnt have what it took to kill someone "Go..." she leaned down placing a hand on Felis as a white light began to come from her hand...it flowed into Felis healing any injury he substained in his match starting to move her hand away she looked at James "Come..the next match will be starting."

"No!" James exclaimed at Mikhail "I'm not fighting yet! Fight last!" he said angrily, "I fight the black one, these two drawed." he said. He just walked off the battleground after Maria talked to him. Though, James did notice the bunnies healing powers, that was a very rare power she had there, and it was enough to snap Felis back to reality.

*GASP!* Felis's large cat eyes shot open, he was staring directly at Maria on the ground. "What happened?" he said in heavily Spanish accented English.

Maria looked at Felis tilting her head to the side as her ears were down so they fell over the side of her masked face "You seem to have lost the match...it was very fast and seemed that it has gotten my master rather confused on whether you were a real fighter or not." she began to slowly get up as she pushed aside her ears and hair behind her shoulder as she began to get up "I used my powers to heal you up...get you back on your feet so the next match may begin..please get up so they may begin." as she was walking towards the side she heard her master say something to her

"Oh Maria you shouldnt be leaving the battlefield so soon. I've come up with an interesting concept and seeing you were eager to get out onto the field lets see how well you do facing off against the next person." Mikhail began to move his hand pointing towards Arachne smirking a bit "You...your next opponent is Maria. And I will tell you now..if you lose to Maria you are out of the tournament. Win and you will proceed to face off against the winner from last battle." he looked towards Maria who had her ears drooped still and bowing "Clear the field so the next fight may begin..Vince toss Maria her weapon."

Vince chuckled hearing what Maria would have to do and looked at Mikhail "Yes of course boss." he went over and grabbed a rather large war hammer from a rack, bringing it over he tossed it into the fighting area watching as it hit the ground and left a small crater from the sheer weight of it "Have fun bunny."

Arachne gives a cocky grin, silent to the snotty noble. She simply stepped into the ring of space, unsheathing her gleaming scimitars slowly. Her ears flicked about, listening for small details that would aid her in this fight. She'd been itching for what seemed like ages to test her abilities, and this.. cowed rodent.. wouldn't stand a chance. She lifted her head, her hood sliding away to reveal her fanged smile and her glowing, blue-green eyes. Perhaps this would be a lesson to the servant. Maybe after this, she wouldn't be so keen in allowing her master to toy with her life. She dismissed the gloating thoughts, and instead focused and the writhing power of magic within her chest, churning and waiting to be used.

Felis sprung to his feet and yelled "No! You don't understand! Stop this! Stop!" he waved his arms angrily. "Let me finish fight against the fox for real! Wake it up! We were both down!" Felis was desperate to win the tournament, surprisingly he hadn't seen James in the crowd.

Arachne frowned at the interruption, and shouldered past Felis. "This is my fight now," she hissed at him, brandishing her blades.

"Nock it off-.." Felis spoke, but stopped. He would've said a word that would've gotten him attacked right there by the fox. "You let me fight the red fox, it's useless to send both of us away." he said sternly in hs low Spanish accented voice.

Sitting there looking at the new stuff unfolding he thought a bit "You..carcal get out of the ring, you can the fox can fight again but, for now get out. I make the rules..you may have another chance until then let the real fighters take the ring..the other shall be healed once out of the ring." Mikhail's tail swayed a bit irritated that the carcal was yapping orders at him. He felt as Vince leaned down and whispered something to him "Hmph little carcal tell me why are you so determined to try and prove your worth? Anyways let us begin the next match..step aside or you will become part of the fray. Meaning not only will you be fighting her." he pointed at Arachne but a small grin came to his face "But Maria as well.."
