Surge gently lifted her head "stop that. Now, I need you to pay attention, this is a very important family matter...and my family, is just as important as yours and you know I'd jump to your families aid if needed...I would like you to do the same for mine." he said calmly and happily, then he put his gauntleted paw on her shoulder and smiled as he turned back to Alakar.

Angel looked into his eyes as he lifted her head to him. She listened to every word he had said and when he was done, feeling fuzzy inside, she nodded and said, "Yes MAster." Then followed his gaze over to Alakar. After what Surge said to her, she felt really special.

Alakar nodded and waved his hand. "Get ready." He said. Almost immediately after he finished speaking they plummeted downward. They stopped just above the biggest and most lavish building in the compound. "There are three more suits, aparently yours was only a prototype, I say when we do attack, we free those poor souls too. Here is the hero," He waved his hand over his staff and they floated through the ceiling and saw a hole in the image. "That hole follows him wherever he goes so I can't discern who it is. I suggest I send my army, they can get there in about a day, and let them know that doom is upon them, my army can open a portal for us to personally walk through and deal the finishing blow."

Surge agreed "Put on a show of power, the let us finish the bastard off! That hole in the miage doesn't concern me...nothing a little slashing and magic wouldn't fix." he said calmly...he wanted to make the hero pay for what he had done.

Alakar snapped and his right hand appeared. "Dispatch the tower carriers to the cordinates thrity and fourtyfive." Then turning to Surge he said, "Let's see how they enjoy a tower popping up in their little compound. But in the mean time." Alakar began to chant in a booming voice. Suddenly the room darkened, and thunderclouds formed above them. It suddenly began to storm very heavily. The lightning seemed to strike the guards directly.

Angel just stood by and paid attention. She suddenly felt a chill as if the hero or another spirit had pasted through her. Her body shuddered and she looked around. Then she looked back and felt a sudden guilt about just standing there and doing nothing to protect the hero. At first she tried to shake it off but it only got worse and this made her have an aura of white.

"That is enough to let the towercarriers accomplish their task." Alakar turned and pulled his staff out of the ground. Immediately the image vanished. Just as Alakar was about to leave the room, a bunch of electricity formed in the center of the room. It swirled into a ball and grew until it almost filled the room. It suddenly condensed into nothingness. Standing where the ball was, was a slender man. He had short cropped hair and wore a travelers cloak over his tunic. He calmly sat twirling a dagger between his thumb and forefinger.

Tundra snarled at the sight of the man.  His crest flaring up as he held his dual sword tightly.  His brother Tey-Vall instantly grasped his own sword and dagger.  His dull orange armor gleamed slightly hile his half brothers dark black armored positively sizzled with menace.  Tundra slowly began stalking towards the hero.  Drawing his blade into his favorite stance as his muzzle beared his sharp white fangs.

"You..." 

Was all he said as he slowly advanced upon the one responsible for the majority of his suffering.

Alakar looked puzzled. "Kaloth I believe your knack for entrances may have caused some confusion." He turned to Tundra. "Tundra, no hero could or would invade my home. They are fine living off their bloated claims of fame and do not care to come after a measly villain like me. This is my personal assassin." He looked back to Kaloth then, "I take it you finished your task?"

"Milord, the glee I gained from his death was only surpassed by the irony of it."

"When I kill I show mercy and compassion and kill swiftly, no torture involved. Except heroes. They must die in a way that humilates them and question the value of their lives work just as the killing blow is struck." Alakar told Surge nonchalantly "That is Kaloth's speciality. By the way, Karvas is no longer a problem."

Tundra halted in mid-step, and his crest drooped down as he began backing away with his head bowed low against his chest.

"My apologies...Kaloth."  His tone carried a genuine hint of apology, and he quickly settled his sword back into his hilt.

"Did he die painfully?"

"Ironically." Kaloth said flatly.

"Let me explain" Alakar stepped in. "Karvas always prided himself with his closeness to his god. So I made Kaloth here and illusion potion, and a mind warp poison to give to him. Kaloth became the incarnation of Karvas's god, and condemed him to death. Admittedly I have done better but... I was busy with other projects."

Angel looked around then at the newcomer. Soon she realized her aura and forced it to change before she slowly slipped into the shadows and began to fade with teleportation.
