I started playing it the other weekend. I seem to be going mainly down the pyro route.

I've decided to start playing as a bit of an aggressive medic. I'm enjoying it so far Smiley

Little update: My main two classes are Spy and Scout. I'm really like playing Pyro though. Degreaser + Postal Pummeler = Cheesy

http://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/f/f0/Demoman_dominationpyro04.wav

I have absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for the sadistic engies who spam that thing and its refrigerator-sized hitboxes from across the map with nigh-impunity. That said, seeing a Dead Ringer spy have his get out of jail free card be completely demolished by a Pomson is oh so sweet.

On an unrelated note, I find myself having a surprising amount of success with Loch-n-Load/Scottish Resistance demo. Sticky traps at chokepoints/hallways/cap points/etc can be more effective than winbombing if your aim with LnL is good enough to keep you alive when roaming, not to mention you get an almost hunter-like satisfaction whenever you set off a successful sticky trap.

Deadringer is not a get out of jail free card.   It's a,  "sorry we added like 30 anti spy weapons and gave every class a bleed sense vanila," card.   xD

At any rate,   as a DR spy i can't say it's all that terryfying.   An engie with a southern hospitality and a frontier justice is /way/ scarrier.

Soldier, Heavy, and Demo are my best classes. I primarily play co-op, let me know if you're up for a game.

I'm surprised nobody likes the sniper here. He's my second most played right now, but slowly gaining on the scout.
I like to be accurate above anything in TF2. Even classes I don't play much have their 'sniping' weapons equipped (Crusader's Crossbow, Ambassador, Direct Hit, etc.).

As such, I really, really suck as a demoman.

Deadringer is not a get out of jail free card.

It wouldn't be if nine out of ten DR spies didn't use it as such; instead of sticking to the sidelines and stealthily picking off people they can just wade right through combat and survive. Of course they're not invincible (only 90% invincible Tongue) and in all fairness if the team is cooperating well or has a pyro that knows how to M2 a DR spy isn't hard to shut down. Nevertheless, I've still yet to see it used in any manner other than "get out of jail free card".

As such, I really, really suck as a demoman.

Try the Loch-n-Load, it's basically the demo Direct Hit. Don't forget to use the Ullapool Caber for the 10% fire resistance and sheer trolling potential as well!

Guys, it happened.

Last night, I was that Spy 20 points ahead of the rest of my team. I also renamed my strange knife Alsek because he's been awesomely helpful to me.

I accidentally taunt-killed Alsek last night Upside down!

For those who can't tell what was going on, I killed that Scout that was jumping around, taunted, then got Alsek (the soldier) on the second hit.
