Uhm~ Hi, I kinda looked for a thread like this...think I may have found one old one, but not really even o.o! But uhm, I was just wondering...how many of you Furries have "Hair", or know of other Fur's who do? It doesn't hafta be 'hair' like human hair or anything, but yeah. If you have any photos of said Furries with hair, could I possibly be able to see them :3?

I've been drawing my furries with "hair" ever since I first started out that way. My Furhead didn't have but only a "puff" of hair though xD! I didn't have money to get the fuax fur I wanted until a few days ago. Now I have my Furry with "hair" from the faux fur =p and being a female, I think it makes my Furry look a lil more 'female' as well, like my drawings >w<; hopefully lol. But, I -know- there are at least some other Furries with 'faux fur' as hair and 'wigs' as well possibly. ^^ So, if you could tell me some things about this situation, I'd love to read and see any pictures :3! Mm'kay? Thanks in the long run >w<; hopefully this is in a good place lol.

Luna has long (lighter than her fur) purple hair. Smiley

This is the second picture I ever tried drawing with her. The other character is my friend, Mutt.

I don't have a picture of her sadly (yet), but my fursona does have hair. It's generally whatever  the style and colour that my hair IRL is at the time.

My fursona too has hair, although I am still deciding on what type exactly. I like long hair over the face, great for my art too, but the eyes are a big part of Jet. Long hair gets in the way of that some. But I dont particularly like the look of short hair, I am trying to find "the happy medium" so to speak. But my character definitely has hair of some sort, I really dont like no hair. It looks good on others but I just dont like the idea of myself without that stuff.

Most of my characters have hair because they're wizards whose vanity would be damaged if they didn't carry their hairstyles with them.  Thrak hasn't, though, because he's a tiger and what would he do with hair?

Kael shifts between pure white loooong hair and no hair, depends on when I pull him... Go wizards!

Jarmakla [my other mostly used Fursona] has no hair mostly, but thats because he's a dragon. Sometimes though I feel like I should have him have the shoulder-length hair he begs me for...

My fursona is a typical looking feral fox… so no hair, (just regular fur). Fox

But I have been experimenting with the looks of various anthro characters for some games that I’m making, and it’s likely that the final versions of those will have some form of hair.
Most likely longer fur resembling hair that fits in with the rest of the character’s base fur color, or an accent color if that color is prominent enough.

Ah! Seemingly this "hair" thing doesn't always depend on the person themself, but to the animal it may be one xD! Oh...kinda has something to do with the person also, but maybe not as much. This is pretty interesting :3 indeed. I used to draw some Furries without hair, but now that I've added hair to mine >w<; it kinda feels a lil odd for me to go back to "without" hair on any character. (Even though I still kiiinda do lol)

My fursona has blue hair and tuqose hair, but her bangs are lime green. She'll some times have diffident colored hair though.

My fursonna is now a physical representation of me, so yes, she does have hair. Look at my avi, except it's a bit longer and curlier.

It is a strange concept of furries having hair since they y'know.. have fur, but yes, mine has hair.

I like to think of it as just longer fur.  Wink  My dog's fur grows a certain way to where it looks like he has hair (but it reminds me of the bob Johnny Depp sported in the Tim Burton Willy Wonka movie XD

Haha, that's fun! xD Okay...so many more furries than I thought actually do have hair. It's cool :3 even if it's longer 'fur'. I actually made my furhead have longer 'fur' as hair xD and -not- a wig. Just because I think it may look better and stuffs o.o than a thin wig or something. >w< Fluffeh soft hair, it's a good way to go. I have seen other Furs with actual wigs also that look good now too =D!

I was actually still on the fence about whether to give my fursona my hippie hair when he was drawn. I liked how he looked without it so I guess he doesn't have hair, just a bit of thick fuzz between his ears.  Upside down

My fursona's got a moustache and goatee like me. It must be hard to draw my fursona with the 'stache, coz almost nobody ever draws me with it.

I've never quite been able to rationalize it. Although I've seen some people draw/paint anthros with longer hair at the back of the head and neck (as opposed to sticking up from the top of the head) to differentiate between male and female, and that didn't seem quite as off to me.

Luna has long (lighter than her fur) purple hair. Smiley

This is the second picture I ever tried drawing with her. The other character is my friend, Mutt.
