Well I'm off again and not off my rocker like I'm usialy. '> I'm heading off to Little Eagle, Standing Rock Reservation, SD on the 24th for my brothers memorial. The 25th will be one year since he died.
In Lokota tradition when a faimly member passes away they remain with the family for a year. You acknoldge their preasence with you. You leave their room, spend time talking to them, visit with them in sweats while they are there. Then after a year after the time spent you say goodbye and let/help them cross on to the spirit world. It's time to say goodbye.
I will be gone a few days. Kada will keep Furtopia running smoothly from the hardware side and I'll be checking in remotely.
I expect lots of wild partying while I'm away! '> I'll look forward to lots of messages to hear from you all when I get back.

Just to let all know, WhiteShepherd made his destination all in one piece! He will be back on-line if he can find a connection since he did take his laptop.

Dial-up accounts on a national network are generally rather convenient for someone travelling with a laptop. If I ever get myself a laptop, I'd probably get a dial-up account for it in case I do any travelling... or just borrow a local friend's account. '> Benjamin

Well, if you get the smallest of all the stuff, you might just get away with it. With an itty-bitty monitor, a really small comp case *they have some really small ones too* And a really small mouse, like the ones for the really hard core laptops, one one of 'em roll up keyboards. It just might be quite possible.

They make some pretty small desktop computers these days, yeah. Greylocks had a small one at C-ACE last year. It was pretty neat. They're useful for people with serious space restrictions in their homes, but that's not a common problem in North America. It probably gets far more demand in Japan. Benjamin

I'm baaaaak! Lots of stories to tell and replies to catch up on. However I'm a tierd dog. So I'm going to get some rest and reply when I get up. I could not get phone service out there on the Res so I mainly played the odd game if there was a night I needed to unwind. '>

OMG!! I just figured it all out. WS and Kada really do have a space ship! You see they have all those computers, more then what they may really need for a Public service as illustrious as this. Their fishery is actually an engine system. The fish, aren't really fish, but bio-mechanical fuel filters. The dogs, a part of the crew, they just don't want to say it, they are in all reality super intelligent creatures that choose to act silly as their cousins do here on Earth.
It all makes sense.. o_O Their house is actually the command bridge, disguised within a holographic projection, as the ship couldn't be buried completely due to the bedrock. But due to the fact that the bridge deck is elevated a bit more then that of the rest of the systems. The barns to, are actually holographicly disguised engine modules. And Furtopia is in all reality their operating system in which they contact their homeworld. What better way of disguising a high powered computer system then to use other people's computers to shoot off signals, that if were combined would make one signal, and as a result disguise the comm. band used. o_0
Wow. Okay, I had better shut up now.....
