I'm still trying to figure out if it would fit into my "Otters In Space" universe or if I'd need to make it a stand-alone piece.  I'd like to pull off the former, but I'm afraid it would wreck too much havoc on the back story for the anthros of that world.

It might be fun to just make it a secret life of animals story and not about anthros at all.

These are adorable. Not to be off topic, but some of these are carnivores being friendly,calm,and gentle. Animals are possesed of a higher intelligence than we gve them credit for. Smiley

This isn't exactly friendship...  It's more a dachshund harassing a crab and then looking heartbroken when the unrequited friendship ends in the crab escaping into the ocean.  But, still.  It's close enough.

These animals aren't really friends -- apparently, it's really dangerous for dogs to hang out around fawns as mother deer can be deadly protective.  However, it makes for a cute picture.
