Just curious, any Mythbusters fans here?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MythBusters
If so, what are your favorite episodes? What are/were some of your favorite myths that were either plausible or busted?

Two of my favorites so far:

I'm not really that much of a fan but the series is pretty nice. Can't really think of any favorite episode though

I used to watch those shows.. I found the ones where they blew up
things the most interesting. Especially the one where they used
explosives trying to clear concrete from a cement truck.

They finally ended the show using enough explosives to destroy
the whole truck. All that was left was bits and pieces

I loved this show! I really liked the movie myths that were busted, like the ones from Pirates of the Caribbean and The Matrix. The drinking episodes were pretty funny, too ("beer goggles," "Beer before liquor makes you sicker").

I found the episode where a plant was tested for emotions to be an interesting premise.  :D

There was and episode in which bullets were being shot into water and another where the guns were fired underwater. Also the skunk episode.

I would have had them try to reproduce to classic Timex watch ads where "it takes a licking and keeps on ticking". Also the old Bic pen claim of being shot from a high-power rifle through a sheet of plywood--and it still writes!
"The coyote is a living, breathing allegory of Want. He is always hungry. He is always poor, out of luck, and friendless. The meanest creatures despise him. And even the fleas would dessert him for a velocipide."~Mark Twain

Yes!  :D I've also been watching some of The White Rabbit Project, which stars the second mythbusters team.
MST3K, anyone?

Those would be cool to see. Especially the second one.  :o

In the 1960s, BIC pens had solid brass tips. They were practically big game bullets already and they looked like the tips were milled on a lathe. It was the only part of the pen that survived the test.
