The "Bad News" thread.
« on: December 16, 2013, 05:21:18 pm »
Similar to the Good News thread
http://forums.furtopia.org/general-non-furry-discussion/the-%27good-news%27-thread/
..........but just the opposite.

P.S. - This is not a ranting type thread. If you're going to rant, take it to a Livejournal, Facebook, or other website.  >:(

I spent 2 1/2 hours at the dentist trying to get a tooth extracted. They couldn't pull it out. Instead, they had to drill it out piece by piece.  :o And I'm in pain right now.  :'(

After an illness knocked me flat on my back for the best part of a week, complete with vomiting, hallucinations and fever, a cough has settled into my chest and isn't shifting.

I did some more looking into the requirements to transfer to the big university after I complete my degrees at the community college...

Looks like in the past year or so they may have changed the requirement from having taken a 102 level language course to a 202.

Here's hoping an advisor will email me back soon and be able to help clear it up for me. I really hope I don't have to take an extra year of Spanish! At the moment all I have left is three semesters, I don't want to have to squeeze in another two courses  :'(

I spent $20 on a game
It took 18 hours to download
18 hours that I couldn't use the computer and i had to monitor it so it didn't explode or something
FINALLY it downloads....
But the file corrupts a few minutes later...
and all of that work was for a permanently crashed game and a computer that completely sucks

I have a splitting headache. I woke up to a spider in my face last night.

:o Oh dear. I have to ask though, living or dead?

In other news, this morning at work I've got guests unhappy that we alternate serving bacon and sausage at breakfast, and not both at the same time. Like, demanding-answers-from-the-manager unhappy. Oh customer service! You never get old (/sarcasm).

My first furry convention is over.
It's been said that rats can gain access to your home by climbing up threw your toilet. I prefer to use the front door.

It worries me how messed up my depression has made me. I can only afford to go to one doctor at a time, so a therapist is going to have to wait even longer.

I have cancer in my spine, multiple stroke, blind in my left eye, deaf in the right ear, dead below the waist, can't tell the difference between death and dreams, memory loss, ifections, constant pain, and the knowledge that I failed in my life's mission.

Everything that made my life meaningful or enjoyable has be diminished. Everyday feels like a life and death struggle, and the worst of all, my mother got cancer and tried to hide it from me.

Welp, looks like I will have to take another years worth of Spanish classes :/. I hate it when they change the requirements on you.

To make it even better, both the 200 level courses I have to take are not offered online! Now I have to spend another year on two more classes!  :goldpissed:

FFFFFFF...

So far this year I've edited three chapters of a book and two essays (including multiple drafts and outlines) for three different people on FA who said they'd give me art in exchange for my time, since I did/do peer edits at the college and in my classes for people occasionally.

Multiple email exchanges, drafts, advice, "thank you"s, and hours of my time, and then nothing. If they all hadn't specifically posted journals promising art in exchange for my time, and then said again in the emails I'd be compensated for my time, I wouldn't be upset.

Getting told again that "they're sorry but they can't do anything because they're busy in school" isn't what I'm looking for, especially because I'm busy in school as well but still managed to do my side of things :/.

We been hearing this since  1980's  yest no proof.  Hockey stick flaws.  Global warming models flaws. The bad news is more alarmist and demand to push humanity to a dystopian society
