Who would you meet in Heaven?
« on: December 18, 2016, 03:30:34 pm »
This topic is posted just for curiosity. Not trying to start a religious debate or anything else.

Just a random topic for discussion. If you died and were up in Heaven, then who would you like to meet and why? What would you discuss?
What famous or non-famous people like historical people, tv celebrities, family members, etc. would you like to meet?

John Denver.
I'd like to hear about all his experiences and thoughts leading to the creation of a lot of his music. - and to sing the entire Muppet Christmas album along with him. :)

Probably meet all my dead family members that I remember from my childhood.

I'd see my grandpa again!
Discuss martial arts and everything.

That's if I go to heaven though.

Other than meeting deceased family, I'd also like to meet and chit chat with the following:

Clarence L. "Kelly" Johnson - Founder of the Lockheed Advanced Development Company (The "Skunk Works")
Geoffrey Pyke - Eccentric British inventor.
Historical figures like George Washington, Abe Lincoln, and too many others to list.
Lots of tv and movie celebrities which are too many to list.

I kind of think heaven to be heaven means different things to each of us.

Some may feel it's existing in clouds with angels singing the praises to
a god filling the air. Or grassy medows with animals playing about. I
heard some say we will be like sheep following god as they would
obey a sheep herder. Who can say, but I have always felt perhaps
heaven is a transition from one life to the next. Even from one species to
another. I have heard that some under hypnosis can remember past lives.

So for me I would like to see my parents. We were close and I miss
them alot. Perhaps when I die it will all be lost and it won't matter at all.

Seeing famous people might be fine, but mostly they are just people
with different dreams.
