[The Nine]

The Nine

This is a tale that is set in the past, the present, or the future, about Nine heroes that saved the world from certain death...

This tale of bravery, defiance and valor, is set in the lush utopia of Arcadia. A planet very like Earth, but without all of the humans to pollute it and destroy it's nature. No, very UN-like Earth, Arcadia is populated with furries, scalies, and all other forms of humanoid wildlife. The whole planet is ruled by Queen Lunika, the reagle Amphithere Dragon, and her advisor, the snake named Eegore.

The prophecy goes, that nine heroes from different dimentions are gathered together in order to rid Arcadia of a creature known only as "The Eye", that hovers above the planet, that has the power to wipe Arcadia clean of life with nothing more than a blink. Queen Lunika fears that it is close to the moment, when all life as we know it will be 'exterminated'.

The task is simple. Destroy the eye. But all is much more complicated. Queen Lunkia and her creepy advisor are definately upto something behind The Nine's back, but with The Eye so close to it's four million year blink, they don't have time to worry about them.

Can the nine heroes save Arcadia in time, or will they all be killed by The Eye? Only time will tell.

This role play only has room for 'The Nine' anthros. So really, it's only "The Eight" Since one of my characters is included is this. I will also be playing the sneaky Queen Lunika, since I know the plot and stuff. Someone may also feel free to play Eegore, but he is not a main character and will only popup once or twice.

The only rule here, is that each one of the nine has to be a different species. The character I will be playing is a Bat, so I'm sure there won't be too many upset faces ^.=.~
But, there can't be say, two felines or canines... You get the jist.

Short Description: A white bat with purple (dyed) hair. She has ragged royal purple robes and a battered necklace and crown. She also carries a staff, which is actually in decent condition.
Character's Background: After a Queen from the Darkness Relm cursed her kingdom, Sequnda had no choice but to flee her own contry and wonder forever in the desert, or risk getting murdered by her own subjects. Royalty is tough.


We'll start as soon as we get at least four characters.

Species: Tundaran Diamond Back Wolfdralisk.
Dimention : Tundara.
Profession (if any): Soldier
Short Description : 6'4 anthro white wolf. Yellow eyes, Hydralisk crest on his head.  
Character's Background:  A soldier in the T.D.F.  Woke up after an explosion in his realm to wake up into the new one.  His powered armor's power source was gutted.  But the incredibly light gravity of this new planet allows his to move with ease.  And greatly ups his strength.  Carries a Badger assault rifle and some ammo.  As well as a pistol.

Profession (if any):    Scavenger/Bandit

Short Description (or a picture):  Shaed is a feline with deep coffee brown fur.  He differs from 'normal' felines in a few key ways due to his demonic heritage.  His feet bear massive talons instead of toes, each easily a foot long and curved down.  His chest is unfurred, tan, and very muscular.  His teeth, talons, bone, ect. have roughly the same strength and hardness of tempered steel.  Finally, rather that a standard fluffy tail, Shaed's tail is composed of over one hundred sharp double edged bone links.  It is supremely agile and capable of shearing a person in two without much trouble.  Shaed carries an odd demon artifact rumored to increase a demon's power and wears only a pair of ragged olive green shorts.

Character's Background:  Shaed was born to a feline succubus that had enthralled a mortal fur and devoured his soul.  Being half-mortal himself, he was subject to emotions like compassion and love.  His mother drove him from home (actually trying to kill him) when she discovered this, feeling that such tender emotions are nothing but weaknesses to a demon.  Since then Shaed wandered through Tanaris scraping out a living however he could.  He even attacked other demons for their food when he had to.  Yet one day he stumbles upon two greater fiends engaged in combat, hurling massive magics at one another in a fight over a magical artifact that supposedly increases a demon's power.  Seeing an opportunity, he snatched the item and attempted to escape with it.  Unfortunately for him, the magics of the two fiends collided savagely at that moment and opened a dimensional rift, which pulled him through before closing behind him...

Character's Background: jik is nemphis's little sister unfortunatly she has not inhearated the same abilitys to shapeshift however she does weild the blade known as light matter, she is kind and doesn't kill unless she absalutly has to, dont under estamate her

OOC: Well, that's four! lets's start shall we?

Queen Lunika was on edge. Her great yellow eyes were bloodshot, and her claws were shaking viciously. The large crest of feathers on her head drooped slightly, and her wings were dirty and torn due to neglect. Her advisor, the snake Eegore, blinked at his Queen, slightly worried. "Your Grace. If I may venture an opinion..." He hissed quietly.
"You'll do nothing of the sort. Get out there, and keep those beady snake eyes open for the furs of the prophecy." She rasped, tightening her grip on the arms of the throne "NOW!" Eegore jumped before slithering as quickly as he could out of the palace.

Sequnda woke up, dazed on a bed of fresh green grass. She sat up and moaned slightly, clutching her head. Where was she? It was hard to make out... She grabbed her staff and dusted down her clothes a little before it kicked in. She had no idea where she was. Slightly pannicked, she tried to remember what happened beforehand. She was walking in the desert, before she saw this bright light infront of her... Then she blanked out. Huffing slightly, she sat crosslegged on the grass. It was so weird, she'd never seen grass before. It was sort of soft and cool underfoot. She sighed content before looking up into the clouds. Delicate looking things that looked like they were made out of cotten wool. There were hardly any clouds in the desert, since it hardly ever rained. She gasped as a sudden paw grabbed her arm and wrenched her standing. She looked at this sudden intruder, he was a male wolf, who looked very important, and have a very sharp spear which he was pointing at her stomach. "Excuse me!" Sequnda spat, pointing her staff at this wolf before that was wrenched out of her grip "What do you think you are doing?! That's mine! You can't do this, I am royalty!"
"Oh, you are, are you?" He said with an evil chuckle "We'll see if you're still Royalty when Queen Lunkia is through with you! Nobody is allowed in her privet gardens!" Sequnda didn't have time to think of a come back before she was dragged away towards the palace.

There is light all around.  Shaed is falling... falling... falling... *CRASH!!!*  His battered body complains with stabs of pain as he sits up with a groan, rubbing his head.  Looking up he sees that he has fallen through the roof of some type of stone building, busting up an oaken table as he smashed into the ground.  All around him are furs dressed in what looks to be some type of combat uniform.  Every single one of them is gaping in utter disbelief.  One of them finally speaks.
    "Wh... what the heck is this!?  You're gonna pay for wrecking the royal barracks, you fiend!"  The soldiers begin to advance, and Shaed's ears flick back.
    "Great... out o' the frying pan, eh?"  They rush him, to be met with a fierce display of claws and talons.  Shaed's furious strength keeps them at bay for over a minute, but even as he struggles there are more and more guards being attracted by the commotion.  Eventually a heavy maul cracks over the back of his head, putting him out like a light.

* Tundra was running as fast as he could, but then the dark matter bomb went off and he felt himself black out.  The energy formed a toroid around his armor encased body and then through low probability physics, sent his body into another universe.  Problem was, most of his back mounted power source didn't.  His body tumbled through the fabric of the universe until it came to the nine.  Then it began falling from the sky.  His armor encased body smashed through teh roof of the palace and landed before the queen.*

At that exact moment, Sequnda was dragged into the royal chamber by the wolf who grabbed her earlier. The Queen sat up as Tundra feel before her. She rose out of her throne and grabbed the white wolf by the scruff of his neck. "How DARE you ruin the royal roof! I should have you beheaded for this!" She roared angrly.
"Your madjesssty, pleassse calm yourssself." Eegore said quietly "I'm sssure he didn't mean to crasssh through the roof." Lunika grunted before dropping Tundra back on the floor. "Even so." She said, seeming to have calmed down "Who are these two... Interesting characters?" She asked, drumming her claws on the arm of her throne.
"This creature was found in the royal gardens!" The armed wolf barked "She had no permission to be there!" The Queen looked at the angry Fruit Bat for a few seconds before she looked at the guard.
"She looks like Royalty. You know thereis a law against rough handling Royalty." She said, a small gleam in her eye. "But the bat down." The guard did as he was told, placing Sequnda infront of the Queen. "Tell me, who are you?"
"Queen Sequnda of the Light Relms!" She said with a defiant look in her eyes "Tell me, what is this place? Who are you?"
"I am Queen Lunika. You are in the relms of Arcadia, and I bid you welcome."

* Tundra's heavy powered armored body smashed against the stone floor with a crack as it broke the stones.  Around the neck were the words " TUNDRA MISHKOV, 5TH POWERED ARMOR COMBAT BATTALION, TUNDARA DEFENSE FORCE."*

There is a commotion outside the throne room, drawing the eyes of a few furs as a chained and shackled Shaed is dragged inside.  He is being escorted by a number of guards.  The squad captain stops dead when he sees the hole in the roof, his mouth falling open as he exclaims,  "Here too!?"  Suddenly recalling that he is before his queen, he salutes.  "Um, Majesty!  This fur was found in the royal barracks!  He, ah, fell through the roof and caused a good deal of damage."  

Shaed stirs and his eyes open.  "Unf... what a pain."  He looks around a bit before his gaze falls on Lunika.  "You in charge?  Tell your monkeys to get their paws off me already!"  The leftmost guard, who actually is a monkey, seems a bit miffed.

Queen Lunika glanced at the cat creature before telling her guards to relece them all. She glanced at the wolf on the floor and ordered a soldier to help him up off the ground. "This is no coincidence." She murmered, looking at each fur in turn. "And lo, Nine furs will appear from the sky..." She recited, scratching her chin "You you three did, indeed, fall from the sky..." Her eyes widened suddenly "No, I cannot be!" She rasped "You are the first heroes from the prophecy?!" She bowed, her wings drooping slightly "Please forgive my foolish guards oh great heroes!"
The guards were all flabbagasted. The Queen never bowed to anyone, let alone strangers!

* Tundra groaned beneath his helmet and stood up.  He was 6'4 and was 6'8 witht eh suit on.* " Where the hell am i?

The guard captain fumbles over his words in his haste. "I didn't mean, er, forgive, ah, so sorry..."  He quickly unlocks the chains and steps back a few paces as Shaed rises to his feet.

"Well, now!  That's more like it!"  He stretches luxuriously, showing off his muscles to good effect, before stopping suddenly in mid-stretch.  "Eh?  Heroes?"

"It is a long story great ones. You are in my humble Kingdom of Arcadia, and I bid you the warmest of welcomes!" She sat back down on her throne "There is a prophecy of a million years, that when the great beast is about to kill us all, Nine heroes will fall from the sky and save our beautiful land." She paused slightly "If I put two and two together, that makes you the heroes of the prophecy, does it not?" She flicked her tail slightly, and Sequnda couldn't help noticing a gleam in the Queen's eyes. What was she planning?

Shaed blinks and straightens himself out.  "Destiny, huh?"  He approaches to within a few feet of Lunika and sniffs the air carefully.  His face flicks into a frown for just a moment before he resumes his standard cocky grin.  "Sure, sure.  We're heroes all right.  Just give us all the details, a nice big meal, and a quiet room to work out all the... hero stuff."  His eyes flick across to the other 'heroes,' giving the faintest hint that he wants them to play along.

* Tundra touched the back of his head and found his helmet was gone.  But luckily his crest was still there.  It rose up and down a bit. Then he looked at the queen with a somewhat intense stare.*
' A queen eh... hmm... ' He had came from the last line of royalty from his planet.  Though he'd given up a life of leisure to defend his planet.  He sighed remembering that royal members had to be treated with the utmost care and respect.  He sighed mentally then got down on one of his knees.* " Queen Lunika. Its my duty as representative of my people to serve your kind and save them if i can." * He bowed his head.  his crest was pressed against the back of his head.  Bits and pieces of metal were embedded in it from the explosion.*

jik awoken in the middle of a feild she had not many memories only spells and a name "what the where am i?" she sat up looked around her she could hear something going on nearby she looked to the ground and spotted a sword next to her the runes on the blade reading light matter followed by you who have removed the blade are blessed with the powers of light

I have a feeling that it's going to be locked many moment now >.>
But yes, this has died. I was new to role playing and the plot was a bit hazy. But I have my Freaks Like Me role play running now if you want to be a part of that =P
