not bad a bit dry at first but you had me interested in the middle i liked how you kept it personal. i have a little advice for you do not talk about actual story of a game but more about gameplay. also try to loosen up it was good after you lossened up in the middle in the biggining it seemed like you were nervous p.s. i hate adam selser he is a jerk lol

I dunno, I think the story was interesting. However, the discussion on "Planet at War" was a bit scatterbrained, and I had to listen twice to figure out what game was being talked about.
No worries, you'll do better over time, I'm sure.

And since discussion of further episodes has been redirected back to this thread, I'd like to suggest posting your RSS feed link.

I updated the OP with all the juicy info. ^.^ Hows that? Oh! and I wanted to mention something. Since the free host I'm using for the PodCast has a 100mb limit, only the 2 most recent episodes will be available to DL at a time, when the 3rd episode comes out I'll have to take down Ep. 1.

*nods* Since you mention keeping up on industry news, I presume you have a few industry news sites and forums you'll be watching? Also, you might look around for other hosts; they're popping up like bunnies in spring, these days. Perhaps, this being a furry show, you might be able to use a furry web host, though you may have to look for an RSS feed maker (I'm designing one of my own) if you don't want to build the feed by hand.

Okay - I've given Episode 3 a listen, and I have some more suggestions. First, I agree with the commentor on the Furry Gamers LJ community that you shouldn't rely on the show notes to tell people what you're talking about; instead, I would say to use your notes to provide URLs that you'd rather not read on the air (like Amazon.com items, or links to threads on a forum), provide a list of things you talked about, and to expand on some of the subjects you only touched on during the show (like pointing folks to a more in-depth discussion of something), and if there's something important or memorable in them, then don't forget to remind folks to check the show notes for more info. You can also use it to link people to an appropriate forum for comments, in addition to using the <comments> tag in your feed.
Next, the pauses between speakers are noticeable throughout - Ventrilo or your audio editor may be using noise reduction which is acting as a "squelch", a term from CB and Ham radio which refers to ignoring input below a certain volume threshold. This leaves a lot of silences, and at least one input is picking up a lot of white noise/static (probably Ventrilo), which makes the difference more noticeable. There should be a way to have your audio editor remove silences, which will also make the conversation sound snappier, though intentional pauses (such as for humor's sake) may also end up removed if there's no option to set the max length of silence to edit out.
Third, and this is only a personal opinion, but I started wanting to fast-forward about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through the listing of furry fetishes. Sure, we're all furries, and you'd like to relate the game to your furriness, but let's not get obsessed. This is one case where a little goes a long way, since the show is already made by and for furries. I was also kind of put off by some (but not all) of the joking insults. I understand they're meant as jokes, but they're still insulting, and many are also jargon (which limits your audience).
As for wandering topics, that's okay, though some have wandered far. You might find that making a list of talking points about a game helps you stay on topic. There's no need to limit yourself to those points or even use them all, but just having a list will help keep the conversation moving when it lags or focused when it wanders. It's also possible (as I try to listen between your words) that you're using your show notes for this (if you've been writing them up ahead of time), and that's also a perfectly fine and valid thing to do.
Overall, I'd say that you've produced a good show. It's a little uneven in spots, but you're still learning. I'm looking forward to the next release!

Iv listened to about 10 minutes and have to say I like it =p Just one thing to work on is the breaks in between speakers but it's defiantly got potential.
I will give the rest a listen and its good to see another person that uses vimeo =p

EPISODE 4!!! https://happywulf.solidcasts.com/xml/download/1415/audio/3381/FGCep4.mp3This week I beat a bunch of stuff, and talk about it a bit. We have more Spore news, Dillo plays Ninja Gaiden, we have a musical break, and I make plans for the next couple of games I want to play. Also, Jack Thompson. =D

Sound quality continues to improve. As for feedback on how many people are listening, you should be able to get a rough estimate by the number of downloads your host has provided. This is, of course, only a rough estimate, since proxy caches will be redistributing such a large, unchanging file to local groups of users, and some people may share their personal copy with friends.
If you want to centralize your feedback, you'll want to direct people to one point of contact. You can assume that every place you make an announcement is someplace where people will want to give you feedback: Website/Email, this forum thread, the furry_gamers and furrymedia LJ communities, and wherever else you post about it. Advertisements, of course, will direct folks to your central location.
Overall, an enjoyable episode.

That's why we want all feedback to come to the e-mail, generally. But I'm glad yall likes it! Also, no one has sent in any contest guesses yet.

Ep. 5 is up! Sorry we're a week late, I was out of state at a Family Reunion. https://happywulf.solidcasts.com/xml/download/1415/audio/3480/FGCep5.mp3"A week late, we catch up on some news, say we're gonna hit some stuff in the show note, and forget. Also, much LoLs and some big game release announcements."

I did a test and put this episode up for a week without as much announcement. I posted the episode on my FA, and I think my FAP too. But, nowhere else. And it has much less downloads then normal. So I guess you guys really need me to post these links here. =/ Both good and bad, I guess. It's more work for me, but also I should be able to switch hosts without much loss of listeners. (But of course I'd announce it on the show too.) So here's #7! https://happywulf.solidcasts.com/xml/download/1415/audio/3602/FGCep7.mp3

Ep. 8 is a little calmer then our usual fare. Not much had happened in the last couple of weeks, or at least, not much that we saw. I go off on a few extra unexpected tangents while staying relatively on-topic to keep up a good show length. https://happywulf.solidcasts.com/xml/download/1415/audio/3653/FGCep8.mp3also, The show feed will be moving soon to a new location, with a forum! Gasp! So when that happens I'll post another announcement and announce it on the show too.

So, this episode was a lot of fun, and I'm really happy with it. Not only was the content a lot of fun to record this week, but I also learned how to balance the audio levels so there's no more super loud wuffs over a sometimes quiet Dillo... HURRAY!!! Anyways we reviewed a couple games this week, of course there's a large Spore segment, and we have some tidbits of news too. Three cheers for Sins of a Solar Empire! So without further ado, Episode 9!! https://happywulf.solidcasts.com/xml/download/1415/audio/3701/FGCep9.mp3
