Day someone pouncehugs me is the day I get my first mugshot taken.
I rarley even like regular hugs..never mind running leaping ones.

And no, I dont give them ither.

Thanks for saving me from having to say all that as well.  Only exception being my mate.  Outside of that... no thanks.

i got pouncehugged today! i just managed to catch her though so it was alrite! lol

I don't like people to touch me without permission. That is in any situation - do not touch me unless I have given you permission to do so, or if you are a close friend (in that case it would obviously be okay).

I myself love to give hugs, and I love to receive them, but I just don't want people to touch me unless they have asked me first.

^ that's cool... but from the groups that i come from you'd be seen as some kind of freak of nature lol... i remember when i first met one of my friends she kissed me on the lips as a greeting! lol... apparently she does it to everyone, and yes i have seen it since. lol

i'm sure that you see us in the same way lol.

This is how I pounce hug:

First, I rush the person, then I stop just as I get to them, (to lessen the momentum) then I crouch and hug them at the waist, 'pouncing' just enough to make them step backwards a step or two.

It's less damaging and still fun.

Although like Mange I'm not a frequent hugger. iIwill do these in times of extreme excitement (and/or sugar-induced hyperactivity) and only to people I know.

I love glomps and pounce hugs. Seriously, if a personal bubble exists on me, it is very small (I mean I draw the line somewhere), but I love hugs, especially from fellow furs. However, I'm rather small (140 and 5'6") so I don't normally GET pounce hugged except by some of my even smaller friends, heh. Mostly I just pounce hug my girlfriend who can usually catch me XD

5'6'' isn't that small... my last girlfriend was 5'6'', and i'm 6'6''. lol

Heh my friend pounce hugs me alot, she is awesome though ^_^ It's not that bad if your on the stronger side, or are expecting it, not to mention she is about 5 or 6 inches smaller then me XD I have pounce hugged someone as well, its pretty fun. Just make sure to aim for grass or soft hehe =p

I've been pouncehugged by a diminutive old friend (she's six inches shorter than me and I work out so despite the fact she's plump I pretty much caught her and lifted her up for a proper hug), but the only reason she got away with that was because we were good friends at the time and I was used to her being tactile. I'm a very touchy-feely person with those whom I love and trust, it's just that's a rather short list. Otherwise my personal space is important to me.

I have pouncehugged my uncle, who is six four and stocky so he simply caught me under the arms, whirled me around and set me down with a pat on the head.

Well, yeah, I know it's not THAT small...but when most of my friends are taller than me, I feel small haha.

Sowwies.. Its an automatic thing.. atleast #1 and #2 are. I have a number of health issues that often leave me in pain and a reaction to someone coming quickly at me is to move or to swing.

I have one friend, she loves to draw (Fantastic drawer, but I'm not sure if she's a fur...) I've known her for about 2 years, and recently (in the past year) She's started charging at me and jumping into a hug, nearly knocking me over several times. mostly they're from behind. Sometimes from the front and i catch her. I stagger a little on the behind ones, but, being a bit sturdier than most people, I can generally keep my balance. Although, I don't think I'll ever get hugged by her again, for 2 reasons...

1. They re-did the school zones, and now she goes to a different school.
2. She has a very clingy boyfriend that's almost always hugging her.

other than that, I'd not be the one pouncehugging someone, because of my bodybuild. I'm more the guy catching than hugging. ^_-

i got pouncehugged again today! lol... this dude though... was heavier than me... and i'm a good 6'6'' and 15 stone. i somehow managed to stay upright and he stayed there for a good ten seconds or so! *rocks out* lol

I would never pounce hug someone without permission.
I would never pounce hug a stranger.
I would never pounce hug someone without warning them.
I would never pounce hug someone smaller than me (not many people are)

I have, however, pouncehugged a couple of good, close friends who knew it was coming and I knew they could stand having me do so. And it wasn't a running, flying leaping pouncehug more of a hug, then jumping up and putting my legs around them.

I can pounce hug cause I'm like 115 pounds LOL
But the way I do it I don't collide into them that'll make them fall over. IF they DO fall over, it's an accident

My friend officially unofficially started a pouncehug war with me. We now try to not get pouncehugged by the other while pouncehugging them. I have a feeling she will surrender first because I have about a hundred pounds on her. Advantage me !!

I honestly would hate to be pounce hugged offline. You see, I have a severe phobia of being touched, to the point that being merely brushed up against can send me into panic attacks on a bad day. In fact, just reading this topic is giving me anxiety. o_o;

Seriously, don't touch me. A lot of people don't believe me and try to touch me and I wind up hyperventilating. T__T

Plus I am tinyyy. xDD I'm only 5'0 and 120 pounds!

note taken... i think i've already said this but you'd be considered such a freak with my friends (sorry)... if we don;t hug and sometimes kiss eachother we begin to panic XD

Ironically, perhaps then your friends would be the best people for me to hang out with, because I really do want to get over this phobia. XD  And the only way to get over it is if I actually touch people.

Though kissing and pounce hugging is a bit extreme for me. xD I have enough trouble with giving small, regular hugs.
