I'm scared to death of celestial objects. I think it helps that my mom was into astronomy and had bunches of old books and magazines on it, and I played The Halley Project a lot as a young child. Now I think planets and moons are these big black objects that you can't see but that can ram into you from behind.

The Sun's even scarier.

I'm not afraid of planetariums, I just get lost in these reveries sometimes where I feel like I'm falling into something and I can't stop myself. It's terrifying.

Moldy food scares the heck out of me...

I'm also afraid of hot surfaces (basically california's outside in the summer, and ovens/stoves that are on... yet I like to cook... how odd)

and... sorta of people (but really only those that take notice of me and stare: especially when I'm appearing normal)

I have enochlophobia, which means fears of crowds. Really anything to do with social stuff, but get me anywhere near a large group of people, and I'm outta there.

It's not so much the height of where I am that scares me.
It's the fear of falling from that HEIGHT

Actually it isn't even the falling. It's the sudden, bone shattering stop at the end I'm afraid of.

Yeah , but when your falling you can't stop.
I think having no power over my fate is why I hate death by falling. :-/

I have a phobia of standing in stairs or close to them, its worse when there is many people around, and the longer the stair the worse it is. I get a wierd feeling, think I can best describe it as a panic attack.
I get the same feeling with elovators too.

the stair phobia can be reaction to that I fell down the stairs alot of times at home and some times at school :S . I haven't fallen down any stairs in the last 5years or so though Cheesy

I have a fear of any stinging insects. Bees, wasps, yellow jackets, hornets, scorpians... you name it, I'll claim it.

I also kind have a fear of being early.

I am afraid of spiders and clowns. I have gotten better with both as i can stay relatively calm unless they are actually touching me.

Probably got a couple, but plane crashes and earthquakes are big ones. The former just seems like an awful way to go, being stuck in a small metal tube with zero control and a fast approaching fiery fate of doom (I swear if it wasn't for Airplane! making me feel so comfortable and OK, I would never fly). The latter just freaks me out on principal, because it's just the shear bigness of the planet seeming to attack you.

So, Shocked all around.
