3 weeks ago, Dixieland Doe and I took a cross country drive. Dixie moved to Montana for a year, for college, and I wanted to go to see the areas that I used to live and work in.

Along the way, we stopped and took some photos, and I figured I'd share a few with ya.

Here's the Badlands of South Dakota.  My happy pace, If there ever was one.  I feel a spiritual connection with this place, so having a day to just be myself here was awesome.  I spent most of the time hiking among the rocks, and taking photos.

Mt. Rushmore, also in South Dakota.  It was a very nice experience to finally see this myself.

Devils Tower, in Wyoming.  Wyoming is a very beautiful state, and I feel that it doesnt get enough credit.

And lastly, here's Me and Dixie, in the badlands.  We had just finished watcing the sun rise together.  Dixie's my mate and makes me feel like a very lucky pony indeed.

It's one of those pyramid things you put on your head for better mental capacity. Cheesy (Ok, it's really likely a construction hoist rigging of some sorts with a line hanging down).

I've been out in those areas on some of my drives, and pictures just can't do those places justice. Even awesome ones like these. I've been close enough to see signs to those landmarks, but sadly most are restricted against trucks, so I haven't seen them first hand. Sad

Thanks for the comments!

I love to get out and see things, and there's just so much here to see and experience.

I think the cable going up to the top of Roosavelt's head is for maintence and cleaning. I saw some workers send a small bag down the cable while I was there.

If yall want to see more, I can see about uploading a few others. There's a lot of other places I visited that I havent shown yet.
