I am officially announcing today the start of project “Fur-Civilization”.  How many of you know/remember the game Civilization?  Fur-Civilization will be a home grown on-line multi-player civilization game based on furry races and units.  The engine will be based on the open source game Freeciv.  In typical Furtopia ideology the finished game will be released completely free to the public and open source.  For those interested more details are provided in the game area here: http://forums.furtopia.org/index.php/topic,37254.0.html

Oh man you know thats gona be fun. I use to design complex Maps and graphs for my friends to play D&D off of and D20 Modern.

Im interested in how this will turn out. I hope its not like the old CokeMusic thing again. blah.

I think it would be cool to see a world map created, like in the old FF. to travel between Cities, Villages, Forests, caves, Dungeons, Trails, and ect alone. And ship to sail/fly to new islands, contanents, hidden areas. Secret places only senoir members who have promition can acces. and arive at the destination and it loads the place. so you feel more free to travel. rather then confined to clicking a subject.

Cool stuff like. Villages, mystical forests, Ancient cities, Abandoned caves, Crystaline palaces, Under sea caverns leading forever, wasteland cities, Farms, smog filled slumbs, Ruins, Towers, Floating Castles, creEepy grave yards, Forts, castles, Naval bases, Space ships, bars, Bizzares to buy stuff, jails, River cities, Mermaid cities, Dragons keeps, Gladiator style compatition domes, Hiden mystories, Old battle fields, culture inspired towns, micro villages, macro villages, Bride towns, condimend bridges, train bridges, mountain paths, tonels, Manchons and Manors, gypsys caravans, meadows, feilds, lakes, in side a whale, Interdamention travel, lunar landscapes, transilvainian style towns, sky scrapers, lone houses in the middle of no where, huts, Nests, large empiral kingdoms, train cars, train cargo cars, ect. I can go on forever.

Is this still being worked on...?

Anyways, I'm working on making a custom faction (w/ wolves!) for Battle for Wesnoth (also a freeware, opensource, community-developed, turn based strategy game)

Still pretty early on though...

anyways, here's a link (since we might consider doing this project for wesnoth...? I at least know how to mod wesnoth)
