Hmmm, not much to say about this except that I was going over some old poetry, and got in the mood to write some more and well... this is what came out:
In youth the heart secretly ached, Pining away for its secret fancy, Waiting for love it withered, But the mind said Not now, Time passed and the window closed, As friendships faded like dreams, And the mind kept saying, Not now
Eventually the heart found another, And began to race once more, It soared to heights yet unattained, And never heard the mind mutter, Not now, The heart grew too close like an Icarian horror, And crashed into the sea, Because it did not hear the mind say, Not now.
Now the heart begins to race again, But halts to look to the mind, Seeking guidance to avoid disaster, The mind cannot guide, When it cannot comprehend, If the time is not now, How will it know when it is?
