I have several but I was never a collector of them I just ended up with them. I have some for memorabilia (like the one that was my grandfather's that I got after his death), and a few I got as presents.

I have several...make that about seven or eight.  Smiley I love my Beanie babies. Especially my two Fruit bats, I have both the tan one and the dark tie-dye-ish one. They mean a lot to me, my Granny gave them to me a long time ago, before she died.
And the rest my aunt found and gave to me a few years ago.

But I love them, and I always am willing to get more when I can. Upside down

I had a bundle at some point. The Penguin one is the first plush I ever remember buying. I've still got at least a few (Penguin, Octopus, Iguana, Chameleon, and baby Iguana (the three are like a family :3), ghost, and a few more). I think at one point in the height of their craze I pondered trying to collect some of the rarer ones. Decided against it, and it seems that was for the best.

my mom used to work at Mc Donald's for a while when i was a kid and she'd always have a kid's meal for lunch and bring me back the toy. eventually i had about 20 beany babies i think. my fav was a chameleon, i used to carry it with me everywhere for a while.

My cousin collected these (she has a bookshelf covered in them)

As for myself, I have one, a little keychain husky ^^.

The only things I collect though are foreign paper money (especially the stuff that's out of circulation) and vintage computer parts and decks of souvenir playing cards (I mean the type with 52 cards + jokers & occasionally the advertisement card or two).

I have tons. Maybe not a few garbage cans full, but about one laundry basket full.  And my sister has just as many. Most of them we got from our grandmother, who probably has more than we do.  We played with them so much, I don't think I could ever get rid of any of them due to the memories I have with them. My favorites would have to be Stinky (skunk) and Ringo (raccoon).  Probably because they were the first two I got.  As well as Lizzy (lizard), who I really wanted for quite some time, though he'd been discontinued. My parents finally found me one at the mall around Christmas time. I think they paid $25 for him, which is waaay too much (looking back), but he actually still sits out on display in my room.

I have a bunch living on my books shelf. A lion, dragon, and white cat to name a few.  Smiley  I used to have a TON (like, upwards of 30) when I was a kid.  Tongue

Oh man, I have a zillion of these. Once I graduate college and move out ( LE GASP D: ) I'm going to go through all of them and find new homes for ones I don't need to keep. I need to do this with a ton of stuffed animals as well.

Ty makes a lot of nice plush. I love the way most of the Beanie Buddies feel. They're soft and floppy. And the attic treasures made in the style of old timey teddy bears are cool too. I think beanie babies kind of lost their identity when they stopped making them floppy and poseable and started making them more like miniature versions of regular stuffed animals. I still love the beanie bears though. I got several of them the past two Christmases, my favorite being the 98 Holiday Teddy.

I've had my fair share of beany babies.

My grandpa collects a whole bunch of stuff, including beany babies, but for some reason stopped looking for them a while ago.  He even had a collectors guide for them, I think.  Right now, all of em are probably in a storage compartment or stuffed somewhere in the house (I don't bother looking for em cause of the massive clutter in my grandparents house)

I also had some state quarter bears, but I don't think there're made by Ty.

I have one named Frankenteddy. I used to have quite a few but i've given most of mine away to thrift stores. My best friend has a closet full of garbage bags with nothing but Beany Babies in them.
