Got back from ORF (renfestival.com) late last night / early this morning feeling amazing. Can't remember if I talked about it here but I went up there with 4 friends of mine from here and took my fursuit with the full intention of fursuiting there if they would allow it. When I got there we scoped it out and got information. I had to show the Chief of Police my costume and let him run my record first which passed with flying colours (obviously) and I chatted with him and his deputy for a while who both liked the costume (and me most importantly). They granted me permission.

I could probably gush for weeks talking about everything there and still have stories left to tell so I will keep it brief for now and just gradually share stories when they apply, lol. I was a little nervous on the way up there because this was my first time in public fursuiting, and I picked a doozie of an event to do it at! I didn't know it would be that large until we got there, and even then later when more and more people showed up and filled the 30 acre ren fair with massive crowds of people. Oddly enough I felt very comfortable and was having a blast the entire time.

I was afraid I would be shy but that definitely wasn't the case, lol! Was an amazing feeling, and I have been having such a difficult time explaining it to people who haven't experienced it before. It just feels amazing and this day I do believe is now one of my fondest memories in my lifetime and something I will cherish forever. I just can't explain it any better than that.

The weather was great too, and I survived the entire 5.5 hours in suit. I read a lot.. and I mean a LOT of tips, tutorials, watched video after video, and talked to many people asking questions about how to fursuit properly and safely, and my spotter/handler was well educated as well and was a great help even as her first time spotting for someone. Hundreds of photos, hugs, and interactions with people later it was a wild success that warmed my heart and hopefully other's, and I can't wait until the next time I'm able to do something like this. I'm so happy I did this (such an understatement), and exercised the courage to go through with it, and acquired the proper knowledge before hand.
Now for the photos.

Thanks for reading all of that, and I'd love to talk more about it but I'll save it for other topics and times, chats, etc. We don't have very many photos we personally took because we were so busy the entire time, but here are a few.
