A friend of mine suggested that my line art style was well-suited to making a coloring book, and I find I rather agree.  So since my favorite thing to draw is dragons, I'm making a dragon coloring book. 

I hope to be able to sell it for less than $10, though printing costs may affect that.  I also hope to have at least 50 different dragons for it.  I have a long way to go on that one, but I'm making good progress.  I've got twelve finished, and a couple of sketches in progress.

I hope, by the time I'm done drawing, to have a better scanner, so I can get decent scans.  Some of these were older pictures from an oversized sketchbook, and they're too big for my scanner. Also my scanner sucks. 

Anyhow, here's what I have so far.

All of those pics are super awesome! Great work!  I really like the 4th pic in your first post. It kinda reminds me of a phoenix. I also think the 12th pic would look kinda good as a fursuit too.

That's Okapi for "OMG w're going to die". Okay, thats actually a Lovecraftian word and I have no idea what it means, but he used it in a lot of his stories concerning the Cthulhu Mythos. I used to read a lot of his work, but haven't lately, guess it got old after awhile. But, nice drawing of the Elder One. You going to continue the Mythos line with Shub Niggurath, Narlathotep, Yog Sothoth, and all the rest?

No, not just now.  This is a dragon project, Cthulhu there was just a minor side trip.

Another one.    Proof that photo-referencing doesn't always make the pose come out right.  This isn't quite what I was going for but oh well.  One more dragon closer to 50.

You could claim that the above pic is a Star Spawn of Cthulhu. They were servitors of the great cephalopod and was stated that they resembled him, but not exactly. At least, thats my story and I'm sticking to it. Any time an author or artist gives a bit a vagueness in their description of something, that allows us all to come up with our own renditions.

But, enough of Lovecraft; Good job on the Drakes so far. Any chance you can make a colloring book versions of the great Tolkien Dragons, like: Ancalagon, Glaurung or Smaug?

Hrm.  An interesting idea, but Tolkien's descriptions of them are rather vague.  One could take nearly any Western-style dragon and go "That's Smaug".

New dragon.  This one is a thylacine/dragon hybrid, based off of my friend Harli's character, though I took a few liberties with her.

Alex, initially, I was going to post the same thing, but then I started to look at all the other pics park was drawing, and all her Wurms are nekkie. The only difference with that one is that she's a Female Dragon and she looks attractive. So, in my opinion, I'd say keep it in with the rest of em. Keeping her out would be sexist. hehe 

This is to sell at furry cons.  I'm keeping it clean enough that it's not going to be offensive to an open-minded parent, but no, it's not aimed at children at all.

How about a pic for the ever ellusive but feared Odracpi? You know, the Dragon that is related to the Giraffe, but looks more like a cross between an African Deer and a Zebra? This is not to confused with the Okapi either. Any similiarities are purely cooincidental.
 

Hmmm.  A dragon ungulate would be interesting.  Everybody does dragoncats and dragonwolves.  I'm going to be doing a dragonrabbit, because that's a bit of a personal trademark.  But a dragonokapi would be interesting too.  I'll have to think about it.

Dragon rabbit!  I have a special fondness for drabbits.  And now the dragon wolf has something to chase.
