Since the beginning of time, there were legends, myths, and gods. Also, since the beginning of time, they had gathered together every 200 years for fights, education, love, and regular chitchats. Now, it's that time again. On the Island of CHINATSU, they are arriving once more. The Island is one that only they can see. It has everything they need and more. The arena where they fight is located right in the middle. It is a huge building where others can sit on the edges to watch if they wish. Which will you be? A legend, a myth, or a god(or goddess)?

Are you confused? Thought so. I mean a legend, a myth, or a god. Any god from any religion, or a greek myth like Pandora's Box. Maybe a legend like Hercules(I think). You can make up your own or take the identity of one that is already created. It's your choice.

PROFILE:
NAME: Kaya
AGE: Born a thousand years after the creation of time
WHICH ONE?: The Goddess of Death
APPEARANCE: (This isn't mine. But I LOVE DarkNatasha's work. She is amazing!)
POWERS: She has control or death and anything dead.
PERSONALITY: She is dark and mysterious. She keeps to herself and tries to avoid anything that feels like love or even like. She would rather not get herself involved.

(When more people join then I will start. Anything you want to add to the profile then feel free.)

(I definately join!)

Name: Mobrius Alucarde
Age: Was born shortly after the first living beings established a society.
Which one: God of Blood and the Granting of Power... A.K.A. The Father of Blood Magic
Appearence: Despite his age, Mobrius looks as if he was in his early twenties. He is also one of the few gods who has adjusted to the current era in terms of appearence. While still retaining a regal, imposing look, he has donned a long, crimson red coat with elegant arcane designs blazing on it. His long silver hair brings out the sharp, striking beauty of his face. He wears blood red pants to suit his coat, and his fur is a deep, deep red and black. He still retains a lethal set of claws on his hands and feet though.
Powers: Being the Sire of Blood Magic, and the God of Blood, Simply by drawing blood from either him or a fellow god or legend allows him to cast powerful spells and manipulate the dreams and minds of others, as well as directly and grievously injure foes. He also grants mortals power through contracts made with him, and he always collects when they break the contract, often resulting in the horrible death of the one who initally made the contract.
Personality: Among gods and legends, he is regarded as a gentleman, but he is known to have a ruthless demeanor in debates and discussion, and is often viewed with distrust due to his status as the god of Blood and Granting of Power, but he regularly will engage in conversation with others of his status, so many people find him amiable when he is in a good mood.

(Moon Dogy: I have a problem with your character. The power can't be unlimited for one thing. And it was to my understanding that gods were the highest beings known to all living things alike, so I do believe that you need to cool down your character slightly. Please.)

(I'll start. If anyone else wants to join then feel free.)

Kaya flew closer and closer to the island, not wanting to use any of her powers to shorten her journey. She prefered to use as little of her powers as possible so that she had as much strength and energy for a battle. Normally she didn't compete in any of the battles, but she knew that she could easily change her mind. Her moodswings were even more dangerous than her abilities were.

She landed gracefully on the concrete floor of the palace. It was truely the Palace of Gods. All of the gods, legends, and mythical creatures resided here. Everything from wines, fruits, weapons, powers, etc. could be found here. Kaya's wings folded behind her. It looked as if she was the first to arrive. She didn't mind much since she had always been a loner. Her ears twitched, earing for any sounds from outside the edge of the island. When she heard nothing, she raised her arm and summoned skeletons from the grave to serve as servants for the beings who would arrive soon.

Name: Thadriel Aranparma
Age:  His age is debatable, and he doesn't know himself. He was born sometime after mortals began to think
Which one: Thad is the god of Thought, and powers of the mind.
Appearence: Despite his ability to take many forms, as most gods can, Thad most often takes the form of a wise old lion who leans heavily on his staff, his hat resting on his head, and his robes drawn tight about him.
Powers: Thad has powers over the mind of mortals, and with effort can even hold sway over legends and deities. He also can use the psychic powers over which he holds dominion (telekinesis, psi manipulation, thought travel, telepathy mostly)
Personality: Thad is most often seen as reflective and quiet. He rarely speaks unless he sees the need to. While he enjoys the mental stimulus of discussions and debates, he also enjoys physical activity, and the thoughts that come from instinctual fighting. In combat, and discussions he is mostly passive, seeing all sides of the conflict.

Just after the first arrival appeared, Thad stepped calmly out of thin air near her. He shook his head to clear some of the queasiness that came from thought travel, and looked around.

"Ah, Kaya, I should have known it was you. It has been a while." He said in his voice that was hardly more than a whisper, yet resounded clearly in each listener's mind.

(Thought travel allows him to teleport to anywhere (with his limits) within five feet of thoughts, both subconscious or normal. I.E. he can teleport next to people, but not plants or rocks... so he can never be the first to arrive anywhere)

Kaya turned to face Thad, "Yes, it has been. 200 years," she responded. One of the zombie servants walked up to them with two glasses of fine wine. "Some wine, Thad?" she offered, taking the cups from the servant and holding one out to Thad. She didn't mind that they were talking, but she had stepped back once to give herself more space. Since they had gathered the first time, she placed him along with herself as just an observer of the battles. Though, some part of her would still like to see what he was like in battle.

"My, has it really been so long? I really should get out of the Libraries more frequently." Thad replied calmly taking a glass from the zombie. "I suppose a sip or two would not affect my mental faculties."

While Thad pretended he shared mortal's plight of being adversely affected by outside circumstances, his divine domain defended him from such affects.

Mobrius...The Father of Blood Magic...the God of Blood...the dream-granter...stood amidst a group of gods, discussing the tendencies of mortals, particularly tyrants of the medieval er, as well as politicians and noblemen of the higher class in all eras.

"Yes...I do find that mortal's lust for power can be amusing sometimes." Mobirus said as he gently drank a glass of deep crimson liquid, most likely blood of demons.

"Ah yes Mobrius...and you see to it that thier powerlust is satiated, no?" one asked him, but then he smirked "I love how you also see to it that thier greed backfires."

At this Mobrius smiled...Mobrius delighted in tales of how those who made contracts with him were punished severely for extending beyond thier bounds and challenging him directly. "Indeed...I found the hero Thalven Istran to be a fine example...the man came to me in desperation, pleading for an instrument of destruction to avenge the death of his wife and son..." he began, with the other gods in attendance listening intently, some disgusted, but unable to turn away due to a bit of morbid curiosity, and others with a smirk on their faces.

"Yes...I granted him said instrument, in the form of a blood red lance, VermillionRage...He took the spear and indeed got revenge, bit grew power hungry with the powerful lance...little did he know that VermillionRage is a living weapon...and it serves me and me alone. The look on his face was priceless in the Battle of Anthrastie, when he attempted to slaughter peasent soldiers to set an example and his beloved spear turned on him, unleashing the ghosts of all he had slain unjustly unto his mind, and wreaking his body as he was paralysed with horror. He is currently alive, might I add...and living out his days in repentance, having payed the blood debt he owed for breaking the contract, in the form of his eye, right arm, and left ear, and VermilionRage left him with a crippled left leg...He serves as a priest of the cloister...and the people have grown to forgive him...but they know of my presence around him at all times, and so does he...he knows I keep an eye on my former debtors." Mobrius finished, with a few gods clapping, and others gaining disgusted faces. One legend even confronted him

"You are a treacherous, venemous Shade, you know that?" the great warrior said, stalking off. Mobrius merely shrugged

"Each to his own, I suppose..." he said softly, seeing kaya abd Thad. He spread his arms wide, a smile on his face "Kaya? is that you you devious little deathwatcher? and Thad? You old book nuzzler!" he said happily as he began to make his way over.

Lol, God is a secoundary stage at most.  Cheesy  In Theological mythology; The Highest beings was Chaos. Who appears in the beggining of Norse, Greek, Judistic, Hindue, And Sumarian Religions.  Smiley  Although not always recognized as a cognative being, or in the same name, It is there none the less. It is useally represented as the birth place/mother of gods and titans. In some the secound stage was Titans who gave birth to gods (Greek). This is found in Norse, Greek, Hindue, And Sumarian Religions. Although not always refured to as Titans. There are also many Mythological Characters who surpassed the power of gods. Allot of them can be found in Greek, Norris, and many other religions.

( A creation myth or cosmogonic myth is a supernatural story or explanation that describes the beginnings of humanity, earth, life, and the universe (cosmogony),[1] often as a deliberate act by one or more deities.

Many creation myths share broadly similar themes. Common motifs include the fractionation of the things of the world from a primordial chaos; the separation of the mother and father gods; land emerging from an infinite and timeless ocean; or creatio ex nihilo (English: creation out of nothing).   ) -Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creation_myth

The absence of this knowledge does not mean they did not exist.  Wink  I understand the desire for equality, so I will lower his statis to the same as a Gods.  Cool  so there for not stronger, but not weaker.

Intresting Thing, Chaos and Omega. are represented in most populare religions. Some times asumed the names of Void, Chaos, Oblivion, and Darkness.

Like I said before, I respect that you desire for equality. so I will lower his power to that of a god. ^_^

The Earl looking around the room notices Makinshi Lazying above him in his favorite pearch. "No I'm sending makenshi. Herba failed me last time against the BlackWind. I want this job done right Aih Makenshi?"

Makenshi floating down bowed and addressed the Earl."Yes Sir, It would be an honer." The earl pleased responded." I know I count on you. Unlike some other dark lords. FAIL ME AGAIN HERBA, and you'l be known as the Three Lords of Gaudium! Got Me!". Herbe cowardly responded "Y-yes you Majesty, but the magun baby cheated I swear.". Smacking Herba out of her seat he shouted "NO MORE EXCUSSES!". turning calmly he beggan to speak to Makenshi. "Now go Makenshi And dont come back until you have an omega piece.". Answering the Earl Makenshi turned and walked away. "Yes Sir."

"I know that voice," Thad cried, his withered old staff creaking heavily under the weight of his turn, "Mobrius! I must admit I still look forward to reading the tales of your exploits. The scribes really can't get enough of your hijinks."

((Just as an aside about Thadriel, his domain is the Cosmic Library, where all knowledge is recorded by the eternal scribes (basically his direct servants) he spends most of his time either reading from the books, or acting as an impartial mediator in disputes among gods and legends.))

Mobrius smiled "Got to give them something to write about, eh?" he said with a chuckle. "A few heros seem to be turning out quite well with the gifts I have given them...We'll see how long that lasts, huh?" he said with a wink.

Thad smiled and nodded. "I don't see much good coming from it." the wise old lion remarked, "Of course, good is relative"

Exiting wonder land, Makenshi and Crux his faithful faerie puppet companion floated down to the Island. As they neared Makenshi spread a fine misty fog one the beach. landing softly on the light yellow sand he peared around for any sign of life. crux followed floating next to him.

Crux... please can you? he questioned. Ku-kuririr! she answered and flied away through the thickening mist. Walking slowly foward up the beach toward the stadium, makenshi noticed several figures watching him.

hmmm.... he sighed. a welcoming party he thought to himself. swinging his sword he tracked three wave blasts at the figures, dispatching them imediatly.

as he drew back he noticed bones where scattered around the ground. Skeletons? he questioned. pausing mommentary he looked ahead, the arena was a good ways away up the long path. the skeletons started to reform. Makenshi was unaffected by this sight and rebegan his journey.

Kaya opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted. She just closed her mouth back up and smiled slightly. When they began to chat, she slowly backed away to give them some space. She walked to one of her zombies and gave it the empty cup to dispose of. So she waved it off before walking outside. The weather was the most beautiful it ever could be. She put on leg up then the other in an indian style sitting position. It hadn't been long before she felt a wave of unnatural air pass her. Her eyes opened, the wind lifting her higher into the air.

As she got over the line of the mist, she saw where the mist came from and rolled her eyes. She lowered herself beside them. "Why did you insist on causing throuble on this island?" she asked them in a calm voice. She whirled her arm, creating a wind to blow away the mist. Then she patiently waited for their answer. If they resorted to violence, she was prepared to fight. Her senses told her that they were not gods or mystical creatures. This made her even more alert because normally no other creature could even see the island.

Kumo watched as the mist began to blow away. Quickly he unleashed his sword alowing it to float away and magicaly out of sight as if blown away by the wirling wind. Crux luckly was miles away scouting in an unknown area. Due to the fact that she is an enanimate Object, she is "almost" completely undetectable even by thought (wich she does not have).

As she asked her question kumo calculated his seroundings. In a cold tone he lifted his mask and turned to her. "Forgive my rash behavour? These must be your's?" He made notice of the skeletons as they reformed in the bushes.

Bowing slightly in respect he continued his conversation. " I asure you, no harshness was ment... Sneaking and Circling is a sign of hostility where I am from. A simple cultural mystake... You never know what monsters are stiring in wait to devour." Reaching in his coat he brings out a letter with a royal crest seal. He extended his hand to give kaya the letter. "I am here on behalf of My Honorable Lord WonderLand. My name is Makenshi, Acting fourth Lord of gaudium and his highist's Messanger... I am sent mearly to observe the compatietion and report back for his honerable's amusement."

(The Letter):

Dear Kaya

Due to my statis and over whelming work, I can not attend this delightful Reunion. Although I am over whelmed with work, I still desire to know the penience of the competition. In my stead, I have sent my trusted Council Lord, Makenshi. His presence is to Observe and report back the details of the Competition. I am sure you will welcome him warmly and the same respects you would me. Inclosed is a token of my favor to the honerable hostist!  Wink

            Sincerly
                        Earl Tyrant

Item Inclosed: Preciouse Blood Red Wonderland Diamond Jewel Set.

Makenshi thought to himself. " I Need to get closer to the Earl. He wont get away with destroying my world and my love Aura.

If I must fight this being I will, but I rather play it cool and get out of here with the Omega piece in tact. No more lives need to be needlessly wasted for the Earls Twisted Cause."

-((((On a side note. Earl Tyrant used Chaos to destroy Kumo's Home world. In turn this also Killed Aura, the only women he had ever loved. Seemingly unknown to the Earl, Kumo is planning revinge. His goal is Espinoge.

Omega The Great Destruction was a faul beast of an ancient God, whos only meaning was to destroy. When he walked the Earth Cracked. And when he flew the world sank into darkness. The Ancient Gods all fought him valiently and failed (not killed). Finaly A hero named Cid defeated him. but in turn lost his life during the struggle. At the time of defeat Omega's body crystalized and scattered acrost existince awaiting to be re-awakened and re-united. A piece is thought to be hidden in the depths of the Islands Puzzleing mystery. Or atleast that is the report from Oscha.))))-

Mobrius nodded "No...My gifts corrupt more people tha the God of corruption himself..." he said with a chuckle "He fails to realise that people won't willingly sacrifice thier lives to be corrupted anymore...and he also refuses to see the wisdom in giving people things. Even the God of Madness laughs at the thought of him being that greedy...although...He tends to laugh at everything..." he said softly, putting a paw to his chin. Suddenly, a glowing white scroll of paper and a small disc made of mercurial material appeared to Mobrius' right "Oooh...another person is making a contract!" he said excitedly He enlarged the disc a bit so Thad could see "Let's see what the poor sop's reasons are." he said softly...it was a poor man...who was praying heavily with bleeding hands...he had offered his own blood as the tribute.

"Oh Crimson One...pleeease...grant me the ability to vanquish the villian Arl Truschev....He has turned on all of us, and begun a rampage! I beg of your assistance! Please, send me something that will allow me to save my people." he said softly.

At this, Mobrius smiled softly "Hmm...can't say I've ever had somebody who's willing to stand up to a fallen hero equipped with one of my gifts...I may have found one of my champions..." he said softly, waving his left hand, materializing blood red armor and a crimson and jet black blade. Mobrius looked at the scroll and snapped his fingers, it unrolling before him as he made a small pierce of his finger and signed the contract, sending his voice to the man "I grant you your wish mortal, but know this...betray the contract, or renege, and your life is forfeit." The armor and blade dissapeared and the disc showed the man bowing his head gratefully, donning the armor and picking up the sword.

"This...will be interesting. He might just have a pure enough heart to remain untainted...it's doubtful...but it's a possibility." Mobrius said to Thad "This'll be one for the Scribes, eh? They do seem to enjoy dramatic stories of plight, victory, corruption and retribution as much as you do." he said calmly, the disc and scroll vanishing...Thad was probably the first god to Witness Mobrius' Granting of a Contract...most thought it was some bloody ritual filled with dark force...no..it was businesslike and clean...the end was almost always messy though...like a night of really hard drinking.

Thad inclined his head in deference to the god. He had inwardly cringed at the reference to possibly the only god he could not reason with. But had covered the motion both with his extreme mental discipline and a sip of his wine.

"I must admit, it is truly a pleasure to witness one of your contracts. While I have read a good deal about the event, I have of course never seen it." Thad said in his always level voice. Though what he had said was true, while reading about it one of his lesser abilities was to recreate the images that were described in the words in the air in front of him.

A wave of his head made two objects appear floating in the air in front of him. One was a very large tome, while the other was a quill. He softly spoke a word and the quill began writing of its own accord. This was the god's personal book, it was said that it contained all of the knowledge from the Cosmic Libraries within it, but only the god of thought could comprehend its depths. He was often seen talking, or watching, or otherwise acting casually while his tome and pen recorded everything he saw. Thus it was a common sight at the gatherings.

"I of course will have to make note to pay special attention to this case. I would like very much to see the resolution." Thad stated, taking a sip of his wine, all the while the quill floated gracefully across the parchment of the tome.

Kaya looked at the jewels with what looked like disgust. She looked back up at Makenshi, but by now her face was expressionless. Since she wanted to avoid any negative feelings, she nodded in thanks and walked back to the palace with the box. She put it in the hands of her skeletal servant and shooed it away, "I have no use for jewels nor any other material thing," she commented out loud to herself. Then she thought of the letter, skimming through her memories to place a name with a face. It took a few minutes, but she finally put two and two together and nodded.

Her senses caught Mobrius nearby. She wanted to avoid him as always. Since she saw him the first time, she developed a mortal crush. It humiliated her secretly because she was a goddess, a dark one at that. It was clear to her that she needed to keep her thoughts and feelings secret from anyone else around her. She looked from left to right before walking out of the palace to the arena. Her zombies were already there waiting for the first match to begin. They helped set up, control, and manage the battles that went on on the island. It made her feel proud in a weird way. She smirked to herself.

Mobrius smiled softly "I'm interested in the events unfolding as well...it's almost like a finely composed orchestra...complete with a sorrowful, beginning, and most likely a dramatic crescendo, and it will possibly end on a final, perfectly defined chord, ushering in the silence that is peace." he said softly, actually starting to levitate off of the ground a bit as his hand gesttures got more emotional...He looked down "Oops." was all he said as he touched the ground once more "There's my poetic side again..." he said softly.

The wizened old god chuckled slightly at the spectacle. He slowly raised his glass to his lips. After a moment of internal deliberation the god finally spoke.

"You know, if I did not know better I would be worried about someone else stealing my post." he nudged the god.

Unknown to most gods, Thad had far more in common with the god of madness than he cared to admit. Due to the fact that his duties required him to be able to see all sides of everything, his mind was actually made up of many minds that sometimes worked in concert, but far too often did not.

((I am debating adding another character (legend not a god) if that is all right?))

As she left kumo stood motionless contemplating his mission. As he stood, he scanned the area and alowed his sword to float back. "Hmm... " he thought to himself as he stepped foward. suddenly he lifted his mask again and leeped violently into the serounding woods on the path. as he navigated the woods swiftly and quietly he neared the colosium.

at the line of the clearing to the colosium was a large feild between him and the gate. cautiously he scouted his position and walked to the large door. as he neared Crux returned from her mission. whispering in his ear, she passed on valueble information to him. "Thank you crux, you know what to do my friend" said Kumo as he entered the towering colosium. leaving crux to keep watch over the colosium entrances for unwelcomed company.

as he entered he noticed how void and silent the halls where. Being that all the gods where dinning and chatting among each other. This was the perfect time to have a look at the colosale colosium. As he walked Silently he noticed the large support pillars. they where beautifuly carved out of lavish marbel. He stopped and smiled. suddenly he leaped to the top edge where the roof met the pillar. touching one he stopped and peared down ward. "Something faul is lurking these halls" he thought. after a while he began leaping from one pillar to the next as he looked the area over for any signs of life. "All is going perfect. Soon I will have made a complete circle." he said with a smile.

As he leaped silently he saw the creature. walking at an even pace was none other then Fenrir. "Thank you crux. I am sure no one will notice. seeing as you never made your presence know to the other. and the sekeltal gaurds are no where near here" he thought with cricked smile as he lowered himself down behind the wolf. Suddenly he let out a Thick red fog around him. In the dark secluded halls they where completely alone. And fenrir was completely open. The fog rolled gently down the halls, but not enough to float out of the colosuim main hall.

No one was close enough to hear them as kumo near the panicing wolf. "Turn" said kumo's voice as fenrir was silented. breathing in very slightly, the red fog dissapated up to the roof around the pillars and gone. "Rest a whil I might need you later" he said to himself. slowly kumo exited the hall and confronted crux.

"Crux, I need you to do something for me." he whispered into the puppets ears. and in a zip she flew away. slowly he re-entered the stadium and toke a seat on a flag banister over looking the main feild. Being it was such a large stadium. spotting kumo would be a task in its self among all the hundreds of banisters. Kumo just smirked and rested.

((Yes that's fine, Kaloth. I welcome any new characters.))

Kaya suddenly felt a weird vibe within her. The skeletons turned to dust and floated away in the wind. She turned towards the palace, "Mobrius," she thought out loud. Immediately, she knew that he had showed his poetic side. That was what weakened her and made her sensitive no matter how far apart they were. It was the main reason why she would never fight him, especially if he knew it. She wished that she could fight it or somehow get rid of it, but she couldn't. So all she could do was keep it secret.

After a few minutes, she called up more zombie servants and continued on like normal. She just hoped no one noticed their sudden disappearance. Then they would know she had gotten weak temporarily and would investigate. She relocated, going up towards the Gardens that were next to the palace as well. The flowers withered and died when she went near them so she didn't go around the roses. They were her favorite, though no one knew. The others would grow back when she left, but for now she just stood there staring at the red roses in the short distance.

Name: Sir Lanriel Knight of the Book

Age:  His legend is unclear, but near the beginning of the dark ages, when knowledge was being forsaken.

Which one: Lanriel's legend is one not often told anymore. In an age in history when knowledge was shunned, books were burned, and ignorance was fashionable, legends speak of a Knight of the Rose. He was bound by his honor, and tradition, yet eventually he rose against his superiors and fought to preserve knowledge. He is the only mortal to whom Thadriel has shone preference.

Appearence: He wears the customary armor of a knight of the rose, however the symbol of his order was etched out with a chisel, to be replaced by a picture of a book. He is large and imposing, yet his face speaks of deep wisdom and understanding.

Powers: Lanriel is quite skilled with his sword and shield, and can fight with the best of knights. Due to his favor with his god, he also has gifts of the mind powers. He can scrutinize a mans thoughts (of course with much less efficiency than his diety) and can move objects with his mind.

Personality: Lanriel is serious, and almost always formal. He is bound by his honor, even to the moment of his death. At the same time, he has seen the folly of honoring his order above what is right.

Lanriel stepped thoughtfully onto the island, his timidity among such great legends and gods making him feel meek in comparison.

Mobrius's senses went off at the presence of new blood "Ooooh....Thadriel, I sense someone who has the same kind of blood association as you! Could this be your champion?" he asked, levatating off of the ground and adopting a relaxed posture. He looked around a moment though...he was really hoping to talk to Kaya...most gods knew that he had developed an attraction for her...she was one of the few gods he could relate to...he was both praised and hated by many forms of society as she probably was...or maybe he was holding onto some far off belief he could find somebody to love and relate to.
