i accept constructive criticism gratefully!    Upside down

but yeah... Just a fursona pic.  I feel I'm getting better at this,   but i really need to take some life drawing classes or something.

I struggle with anatomy (though this pic wasn't originally intended to be a finished pic... just wanted to test something with the fur... so then again,  i didn't particularly try hard with anatomy...)

This was done in photoshop CS4

Nice! You did a good job with the fur texture, it looks super fluffy and soft.

It might be a good idea to put some darker outlines around the eyes and mouth, it would help them stand out better rather than getting lost in the white fur, and give the face a little more balance (at the moment, a lot of focus is drawn to the nose, just because it's the only big dark splotch in a sea of white.) If you're looking for anatomy practice, it helps a lot to print out a bunch of pictures of real-life wolves and draw them- it'll give you a good feel for where things go and how they should be proportioned.

Thank you!   i'll have to try the outlines again.  problem is i ussualy wind up making whatever i'm drawing look mad...  and i thought those outlines were why.  Guess that will take some experimenting.   Embarrassed

And yes! i've only actually used the photos of real wolves a couple times actually...  i haven't used any refrance photos or anything for quite a while...

I should probably do that soon just to get a good idea of shape again...  if nothing else.   Upside down
