Well, it's almost that time of year again. The shops have been getting their early Christmas stocks in, Christmas lights are going up, and mebbe we've got our eyes on something that we'd like to receive or something we'd like to give. Whatever the signs are, Christmas is coming up soon. This means that we've got to get the Furtopian Christmas Gift Exchange (FCGE) up and running. So, if you're interested in participating this year, all you have to do is post here that you can do it, if you're willing to send over seas or not and some gift ideas to help who ever you're assigned to with your gift. Then PM myself your physical address. These will be kept private except for the person that is sending you an exchange. Nothing over $5 but if you wish to go over that is up to you. You can find out what your exchange likes either by looking at their profile or contacting them and asking what types of things they like. Once the names have been matched, your address will be sent to the person that is sending you your gift, through PM. Also, because of problems in the past if you are in the USA when sending out your present get delivery confirmation (or tracking #) for the shipment. This is about 75 cents at the PO. Then send this tracking number to your exchange and myself. This is good for 2 things: 1. shows that you actually sent your exchange and 2. that it is not your responsibility if it gets lost in the mail or some other thing. Minors must have parental permission to participate in this event as they must give their home mailing address or PO Box address for gift. We do not require proof of parental consent, but please do not abuse it as it could cause problems for you or for us. If you want to join in but KNOW you can't afford to send anything, DO NOT say that you can. This only looks bad on you. It could also keep you from ever participating again. This is done on the HONOR system. So, please, let's keep it real and fun by actually joining in and sending your exchanges. ^_^ And finally the most important thing of all have fun and enjoy! Important Dates to note; The deadline for participants is the 5th of December. You will then have 10 days read over their post and arrange a gift for your assigned Furtopian. This means that you have to post the gift on the 15th of December so that it'll get to the recipient in good time before Christmas.

Sign me uuuup!! I love wolves and plushies of all sorts! Custom art of my fursona is cool too! Here's my reference sheet for those artistic peeps out there: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2991003/Anything from your current location like college postcards and local tourist chotchkeys are awesome too. I like random bizarre things. EDIT: I can send overseas if needed!

I love Christmas! And I love the gift exchange! Oddly, it's one of the reasons I joined Furtopia; I like receiving random stuff from random people. So, yes, I'm in. Basically, I'll like anything that has to do with furry, art, literature, music, and... well, really anything. Local objects are cool, too. What I don't want: Pay it Forward. Yeay! Blast, I'll send you my address (since it changes every few months).

Sorry, this thread started while I was away at MFF in Chicago. I am definately in. I can ship stuff out overseas as I am well versed with Custom Regulations and the paperwork thats needed for it, or domestic is just as fine too. As for myself, I prefer things that are made/crafted in the furry genre by the individual as opposed to something store bought. Such as a simpe hand drawn sketch, or a pair of ears on a hat, or anything creative and/or unique.

I think Itico and I will do this. We can ship internationally (although nothing too large-so if you are not in the U.S. or Canada, I wouldn't likely send you an enormous plush or anything). For me, I like anything black cat. Custom art, posters, bookmarks, etc. I do have an affinity for some famous black cats as well, namely Felix. For Itico, he likes mult-gadgets and tigers. Some custom art would be nice, since he only really has badges that were done by me. He plays a white tiger most of the time. Oh, by the way, gifts given in SL are also fine Cicero Kit on SL Itico Spectre on SL

I'm sorry but I just don't have the funds this year to participate. I had a blast last year but I'll have to sit this year out. Perhaps next year will be more generous to me.

Just a reminder to all; not all gifts need to be purchased. As I reqeusted as a gift for myself in my own post above, I would love to have a hand made, crafted or drawn gift instead of something bought at a store. Especially this year when money is tight for everyone.

What I would really like is a tail and ear set but I know that's alot to ask for so maybe a gift certificate for walmart for art supplies. I'm not picky. I like Disney animated movies. I really love the movie Corraline...that stop motion animated one...
I dont mind if whoever gets me messages me if they have questions

It's gunna be an intimate little exchange this year How fun! I can't wait to see who I get! When I first read that, I thought is said; "intimates". Then ofcourse my mind wandered to a nice Corset and Stockings set which would have been a most wonderful gift for me, but way too expensive. Then my mind's eye came back to reality and realised that its now winter in Chicago and somthing that sheer would not be a good thing to wear. At least, not for the next few months.

I forgot to post what I like and then responding to Blast in a PM I remembered something. I LOVE COLLECTING KEY RINGS when we go traveling to different states. I think it would be cool to get them from my exchange persons home state as well! That is if they haven't gotten mine already. LOL For WS he loves everything animals. Especially wolves and shepherds. White especially or regular is fine. Plushy. Hand done. Creative.
