Use this thread to announce things about your radio shows if you have them. Cancelled shows and all that. I'll use this myself, if I need it.

I haven't been doing my show lately, sorry. but it's on for tommorow!

Some reshuffling has occurred, thanks to a snafu that has been corrected. My music show has been moved to Wednesday from 9 PM EST to 2 AM. Also the Tuesday show will continue to be Oldtime Radio broadcasts, running from 10:00 PM to 1 AM. Message me for info, and thanks for listening!

I moved to Fridays

To keep from running into other people's timeslots, I suggest everyone download this plug-in if they use ShoutCast through Winamp: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=138612

Set it when you start your show to when it ends. Times are here: http://radio.furtopia.org/ Make sure you don't run into somebody else's time. This is also handy for when you need to leave and you want to leave the radio up. It'll close Winamp for you when it's time. I use SAM2 broadcaster, though, so I have it set to shut off before other shows or when my show ends.

Also, I'm buying more music. I got The Final Cut yesterday. It's Roger Waters' last album with Pink Floyd and it's a great one. When I have more time, I'll try something different, like doing some talk again. Right now I'm busy with moving and all, though. The Final Cut is also a short film which can be viewed here as well as info on the reissue of the album (top left icon).

I've set the auto-DJ to do certain shows certain days. Mondays will be classic rock, Tuesdays will be a mix of all of my music and Thursdays will be wierd tracks, video game music and movie soundtracks.

I regret I am going to be off the air indefinately, I am currently going through a major disastrous life issue, and do not have access to my computers (I am writing this from my parents' computer), and I don't know when I will have access to them again. I don't wish to discuss the details at this time, suffice to say that I will come out of this whole and a better person, but right now I have to concentrate on other things. Thank you for your loyalty and friendship, and for your continued desire to hear my shows. Hopefully when all this is over, I can come back. Be well, stay safe, and hugs to all of you.

I've settled into my new house and fixed my computer, so I'm back now.

I've figured out how to get my 2 soundcards working for talk radio. If you want to talk on my radio show, my skype name is Antetfa.

Ok, skype shuts off recording, so I'll be running a teamspeak server at 69.69.65.185:14534. A bunch of people can join and such and I can moderate it.

To all furtopia dj's:

How would everybody feel if we had some station adverts along the lines of "You're listening to WLJM radio furtopia" or "WLJM radio furtopia, the furry choice" or something. If you guys had them would you play them at say, the begining of your show, at set intervals or whenever?

Anyways, I'll be making some adverts for my show this week so just let me know if you'd be interested in them.

Whoops, very late. Anyway, I was planning on doing some, myself, just plugging my show. I did some before, but I made it to run with Winamp. I can set SAM2 to play stuff every once and a while, so I was going to do that.

Anyway, sorry, no shows on Monday and Tuesday. I've been working on maps for Tim coop, a HL2 mod. Hammer and HL2 running at the same time is bad enough without SAM2 in the background, plus, and if anyone was in the IRC yesterday, you'd know I've been having connection issues. Sprint doesn't like my brother's laptop very much. I'll have a show up tomorrow, or maybe even tonight taking over Narki's spot.

Scani has joined the ranks of Radio Furtopians!

Starting July 6th, my show entitled "Tail Mix" will be airing every Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM EST.

So what am I doing for two hours every Wednesday in the not-quite-optimal afternoon slot? I'll be playing totally open format, combining some of my own dialogue with tunes of every genre in an attempt to get a cornucopia of musical styles from rock to classical to trance. Almost a trail mix of sorts. Or, furryizing it, tail mix. Hence the title. You like? Didn't think so.

Obviously this sort of diversity is nothing without the contributions of Furtopia's equally diverse community. Therefore, feel free to send your requests for upcoming weeks to scani -DOT- lupena -AT- gmail -DOT- com and you could hear your stuff played as well. Week 1's playlist is pretty much locked in, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested to hear what you have to say for other weeks. '>

A website is on the way, too. Further details to come as things get straightened out, but I'm hoping they'll be straightened in time for Wednesday.

Anyways, that's my announcement.

Letting everyone know that today's show will begin at 1:30 PM, instead of 2:00, and I won't be talking because I'm away all day. However, the computer is set up to play automatically.

Okay This week I'll be doing a mix show which means the music will be mixed non-stop. (which means it'll be beatmatched, hopefully if I don't trainwreck)

Okay, so my shows up now. Yay!  It's on Friday between 4 and 6pm EST. I don't really have a style of music I like so either tune in and find out or go to My Media Library to see my full compilation of tracks.  Thanks for the help with setting this up guys. I appreciate it. ^_^ Anyone who deos listen beware my pompuss English accent. >_< I can't stand it.
