Yep, use of Voter ID and other such programs have for a long time been used to suppress disadvantaged minorities... particularly in what are currently known as the red states. No points for guessing why...

Avor:
Voter ID laws just seeem like a way to force the poor out of their vote. In BC a government photo ID takes $45. not much if your working.
