So I know it isn't really socially accepted to smell in public, but I for one am not a huge fan of showers. I try not to smell in public but at the same time depending on the day I might not take a shower. Does anyone else not like showers or not do them that often for lifestyler reasons?

Always shower every day, at night/evening preferably. But now that it gets so hot, I get so sweaty on my morning runs and I take a second shower in the morning.
This can be pretty rough on my skin though, it gets dehydrated really easily, so I have put on a lot of hydrating lotion after every shower. x_x

Everyday. My hair gets all oily and disgusting otherwise x_x

Funny you should mention that. Here's a little known historical fact: Some later types of World War II submarines and/or post war models of submarines had showers on board. But due to cramped conditions on submarines plus limited resources, showers for crew were limited to 3-5 minutes. No more.

Unless I am dirty if I shower every day my hair and skin over produce oil which is a pain in the rear, so I shower every other day.

I generally shower every other day, or more often if I feel dirty or sweaty or such. I never considered taking them less often for "lifestyle" reasons. Besides, if I were an actual anthro, I'm not sure if that'd change much.

I hate showers tbh >< But I do have to shower; sadly I am not blessed with naturally good smell XD Even during the winter, if I don't shower I smell pretty bad ^^;
I find I can't even shower at night and hope to be nice and flowery in the morning D':
But, yeah, if it was up to me (and I know I used to do this as a kid when I could get away with it) I would leave showering for 3 or 4 days lol Dirty or not, being soaked sucks :goldlaugh:

I shower once or twice every day. I get really sweaty pretty fast, but if I can't take a shower right away and the sweat is allowed to dry, it's not as much of a big priority for me at that point.
For example, last year my school went on a weeklong camping trip, and since we were only given shower time on our OWN time, that meant waking up BEFORE the alarm, which was at 5:30, which was not gonna happen for me. I didn't shower for 8 days. You actually get used to it after a while :D

I shower every other day, usually. Showering every day can actually erode protective layers of skin (or something like that... it's called the horny layer, and that's all I remember), so I think it's just fine to skip showers. (: However, I can't stand going two or three days or more without showering, cuz I feel gross and my hair tends to look dirty within a day or two. And I hate when my hair looks dirty. So when I shower extra, it's always specifically for my hair. :P
I have no idea how bunnies keep clean, but I just like to think that my sona would shower the same as I do anyway, so... no worries. :D

Always gone by the rule of "unless you actually do a job that legitimately gets you *dirty*, you don't need a shower every day". Unless you do construction, work outside all day, work in a hospital/germy type job, yadayadayada.
Plus, over washing and such can irritate skin, which will exacerbate skin conditions and potentially cause minor infections, cause overproduction of oil on skin/hair/etc. Actually not good for you, in the long run.
I try to go every other day. And wash my hair only a couple times a week (it gets oily otherwise). And tend to take baths as opposed to showers (didn't grow up with a shower, it is still odd and a bit foreign to me, honestly).

Every day. My hair gets greasy if I don't wash it every day (I play with my hair as a nervous/bored reaction, it goes through a lot in a day), and it feels like my skin is crawling if I don't jump in the shower. It's a mental thing - a two minute shower will stop the feeling, I just need to have the action of being in water.

Once a day, usually. My favorite time to take a shower is at 3:00 am. :D
EDIT: No longer true. 11:00PM has proven to be far more practical in regards to having a worthwhile daily schedule.

I tend to shower once a day, for 5-8 minutes after I get home from school. If I get too sweaty sleeping under my bedsheets, I'll wake up 10-15 minutes earlier and take one before I leave for school at 5:30 AM.

At least once a day for me. I really like to be clean, plus hot water feels really good.

Good grief, this cat loves showers. I'd soak under that shower head for an hour if I can get away with it. It helps that I pay the water bill so I can use all I want. Also helps that I invested in one of those rainshower style heads that look like a 6-inch disc to spread out the water-- don't need one of those fancy "massage" pulse types that'll get water on the ceiling because they hit so hard.

I do that from time to time. There's nothing like hot water to wash away stress. Thankfully, my water bill is a flat rate ;)

I'm one of those people who hate taking showers until I'm in there, then hates getting out. ><
I like the hot water, nice and relaxing, wouldn't have to spend nearly as long if I didn't have to wash my hair a good 4 or 5 times >< it's so thick. Least I won't be going bald anytime ever. :P

I shower every day because I have *really* oily hair and it gets all gross if I don't make a point of showering off for two days or so.

I prefer to shower every day, but I have gone as long as a week without a shower. My hair gets really oily and I feel grimy if I don't shower every day! x_x
