Occasionally I see a line of seemingly random characters at the end of one's post which is given as a "fur code." Just curious--what is it? Thanks!
-
It's simply a way of telling people your species, gender, reaction to hugs and cons, and things like that. You run it through a decoder.
Decoder here (http://winterwolf.co.uk/furcode), that also has a link to create your own.

Funny thing about those fur codes. *tilts head* I never see as many furs using them as I used to long ago. Have they become unpopular for some reason?
-
didn't know this was a thing so I made one for the sheer fun of it

I've had one for a few weeks in my sig, I think they're nifty. :)

Thanks for the info. I created one for myself.

I've had a fur code for about ten years now... good to see there's still interest in them.
Incidentally, what is "tinysex?" Is that just cyber/ERP, or is it something more specific?
To my understanding, yeah, that's all it is.

I was beginning to wonder the same thing.
It seems pretty cool to me, so I just finished getting my own furcode! It's in my signature now.
