Ive just started making them, havent sold any..Just made some for my close furry friends. I might start making for other later on..Nearest fabric store is 35 miles away so have been licky my walmart had them. Ill work up a tutorial for others when I make Kiyoshis ears..

Riko I will be making them in the future 5 more openings at the moment. Only draw back is theres no fabric stores near me so the 5 people I do ears for will have to provide the fabric. I provide headband, plastic liners and the labor. I do hand sew everything.
Fixing to have some dental work done so it will be a couple weeks. Prices will depend on what needs doing and I may work them as art trades since I cant draw very well. have to wait and see.

We'll wait and see if the 3 people Ive made ears for so far like them inhand. Ive never seen any ears made before and mine may be crap.

Ulario, email me specs on gryphon ears (color and such) When I go to the coast Ill see what faux fur I can find that closest looks like feathers, maybe we can work it like an art trade. I obviously cant draw as well as you but I can sew

I can get both colors here, Ulario. I can pick them up on the 1st and have your ears done by the 5th at the latest. I can get a shorter type pile like what my ears are made from (longer than Sai Q) or an even longer type like kiyoshi's black ones.

Yeah, the fur would probably look best a little longer then SaiQ's... though perhaps not as long as Kiyoshi's.

Hey, one question... did you use real earrings on that or something that appears to be earrings? I'm wanting to do something very similar (like I said earlier). My character usually has 2 or 3 earrings in each ear, and I need something that won't snag. Random Kangaroo
Any tips on securing those lovely hoops would be gold.

the rings are actually 25mm Split key rings I got from walmart. The are secured into the ear the same way real ones would be, thro a hole in the fabric. just easily thread the ear on the ring like it was a key. I think they were like 8 for 70 cents.

Aurrin was so kind as to post a pattern for making ears. This is the same one I used when i started.

Ears gone
These started out as a pattern test for Ularios ears. I make each pattern 1st and sometimes test them out. The test ear came out so good I added a tassel and finished it. They look red in the scan but are a chocolate brown with extra pale cream inners.
EDIT: there will be no more tassled ones like this. I used the very last sliver of fur for these.
Also Ulario I have your brown and whites cut will sew them in the morning.If youd like the tassled ones tho they are yours.If you dont Ill post them for sale/trade.
