I am a lupine fur who, at conventions, goes as a black cat (go fig). Anyways, I have this great idea for a furry Masquerade skit but to pull it off I need a fursuit head. Does anyfur know where I can possibly find one?
Alternatively, I could build one myself. It doesn't need fine detail, just a good ear and muzzle profile. I've seen fursuiters with heads built atop a balaclava, and this seems like it would do purrfectly. The skit involves dancing, so airflow is key. Costume eyes are not essential and may even be better to leave off. Would making such a head be difficult? Are there any guides?
One more thing: my current tail is 2.5 or 3 feet long and has medium gauge wire to give it form; it connects to my belt. To dance I'd need a more sturdy frame (any ideas?) and a better way to attach it (I was thinking of putting wires directly into my nylon weightlifting belt). Anyone know where I can get another tail so I don't have to mod my old one?
