POPULAR?!?

How do i become a popular fursuiter(like buddy), I haven't got my fursuit yet, but i really want to be well prepared, i dont wan to have to squeak and stuff, i want to be able to talk, so here is my question, what would make me popular in your eyes? I'll try to explain more tonight after work, but for now....... What makes a fursuiter "popufur" isn't how much money you spent on the suit, who you bought it from, or the fancy design of the suit. What makes a fursuiter noticeable and popular is how you present that character and interact with others. It's all about the person inside the suit that makes a fursuit popular or not. How a person brings that character to life and interacts with others is what's most important. ;)

Popufurity is overrated.  :P  >:(

IMHO being popular is a goal that's going to cause you lots of frustration and stress.  Make your goal "have fun" and let popular happen or not.  Even if you do everything right, popularity is a fickle thing and can't be guaranteed, it may never happen.  Fun you have more control over, and personally I prefer it. :)

Just be yourself, (In terms of fursona and you) in terms of how you act, don't try to be something you aren't  ;) besides if you were to become popular, it takes time.

Thank you, that is wise, and since you seem the smart kind, what con should i go to first in a fur suit, and what should be my first con?(i mmight be going to rivfur this year though)

I have personally never been to a con, Although i would very much like to. In my opinion though, it doesn't matter which con you go to, as long as you enjoy yourself, It doesn't even matter if you don't go in a fursuit, you are representing the fandom you love, The whole point of a convention is to have fun and make friends, so my advice is to go to whatever cons you like, and to as many or as little as you want to. Here's a little unknown quote i quite like, "When you stop chasing the wrong things, you give the right things a chance to catch you."

So quit worrying about popularity and ENJOY YOURSELF  ;)
