Worrying about the past never solves anything. You can't change the past. What's done is done. And worrying about the future isn't good either. All you can do is decide what you are going to do in the present.

Up late looking at fire science and emt courses that I can enroll in. Decided to pursue wildland firefighting. Trying to join a Type 2(IA) handcrew. Hopefully after 2 years try out for a Type 1 Interagency Hotshot Crew.

Just finished watching the first two episodes of the new His Dark Materials tv series. Not too bad. This is definately better than The Golden Compass movie.

I am toying around with Packet Radio in my area on 145.050 MHz . Can directly reach at least 12 miles and apparently reach 100 miles via node hops.
With 10 watts. Too bad there is little activity...

I'm up pondering the inner workings of the universe. And listening to my dog chomp on her squeaky toy pig that grunts. And I now know the meaning to life. Having fun while it lasts, before your squeaky pig breaks.

Recovering at home. My surgery was a success, with only minor complications post-surgery. I'm still waiting on the test results to confirm what exactly the mass was but the main hurdle has been crossed.

Just finished watching the History series "WASHINGTON". It's a new series that came out this year about George Washington. Very good series, but I wished Part 3 would have focused more on his Presidency and things he did during that time.

Finished watching the STAR TREK: Picard series. I found it to be a very intriguing series. I have suspicions that this series might tie in with Season 3 of STAR TREK Discovery. I'm not sure how, but I suspect it will in some way.
