Although, asthma really cuts down on my ability for aerobic exercise.

Asthma?Me too, then weight lifting is for you, just keep it to high weight with low reps, that way you can still gain mass but not get too much out of breath.

I used to run a  lot during HS for Track and Cross Country (got just under 5000 miles logged, which I'm working on achieving now Â
'>) and the injuries that go with that unfortunately. I like biking a lot more though so I have been donig that when I'm not too tired after running, sometimes I'll go on 50-80 mile excursions which I try to do at least once a month during summer. Otherwise if the weather is  nice I try to keep it at least 15-20 miles a day when I do bike.
Lifting is something I never got into though, so while I can lift (or press? forget what it's called) 6 times my body weight leg wise my upper body strength is pretty pathetic, barely 90% of my weight.
edit: forgot to mention that I haven't been running consistantly or for very long periods of time for the past year mainly due to the fact my last injury was a hyperextension injury of my kneecap due to severe cartilage damage, which really freaked me out so I've almost gone exclusively into mountain/road biking so I can still be active without all the injury

My everday life is a workout. My job gets me tons of upper body excercise and I tend to keep pretty active in other ways as well.

I put "Other". Me and Kada are going to start swimming at the YMCA. That and regular "other" exercises.
