Bah, it was way better than I or II (and even better than VI IMHO).

Beats the $#!+ outta anything else on that list, though. ':p'

Voted Jaws- just bought the 30th anniversary edition last week. It's tied with M*A*S*H (not the tv series either, the original movie) for my all time favorite.

you can't say "it was better than I or II" to back it up.  Take three sh***y movies, you can't say the least sh***y one was good. It was the best of three sh***y movies

anyway, george lucas should die. NO one would care if the movie didn't have STAR WARS slapped on it.

From the list, Mr. and Mrs. Smith was kinda cute.

STAR WARS! STAR WARS!
it was better than I and II but the origenals still rule all!

i said episode 3, but only cause i havent seen batman, war of the worlds, or madagascar.

anyone else get the overwhelming feeling that the newer star wars movies sucked uber bad compared to the originals? if you ask me, i say that they used way too many cg effects. i, personally, would rather see little models having the hell blown out of them.

The problem is that for the most Lucas directed and/or wrote the latest batch of movies, and he’s trying to sell it to a whole new generation, one who might not have seen the originals before he butchered them into the limited special edition dvd realises.

I'm actually quite disappointed by the lack of good movies out this summer. I'm not a star wars fan, so I don't get that at all. And IMO, everything else has just been complete suckage which doesn't appeal to me in the least. I miss the annual release of animated disney films, I remember being so excited over those each summer in my youth '<img'>

Madagascar looks decent, but of course I haven't seen it yet and am not sure I want to, I'm not impressed. Whatever happened to quality traditional animation? These days, kids will go to see whatever available crap there is. It's disappointing and saddens me a bit.

Only movies on that list I've seen are SW and WotW, and while they were both great they are not my favorites.

My favorite movie is Dragonheart.

Runners up too good not to mention include:
Tron
Matrix trilogy
Back to the Future trilogy
Aliens
Gladiator

Another one of my fav movies is also dutch : "Dat dan weer wel" also a masterpiece beautiful watched 3 times after eachother so good ^^

EDIT : Okay i've got to confess something about those movies they aren't acctulay movies but theather shows recorded but i think they count as movies so the whole "movie" only finds place on a stage =P and yes i also visit theathers and the next time Hans teeuwen  (the one who made those shows "dat dan weer wel" and "industy of love") is going to make another new show, i am going to see him LIVE on stage ^^ i love him he's my idol =P

Batman Begins

Batman has always been my favorite supper hero, I grew up watching “batman: the animated series” and have always looked forward to the day when the new batman movie came out.

As a long time batman fan I can debate and nitpick in great detail about how batman begins “stated true to the franchise” in some aspects and how it didn’t in other way but overall I think it was a great picture…I enjoyed watching it and in the end, that is what really matters in a movie
