not only will I (in all likelihood) make it to AC this year, It'll be my first con (probably) and by then I should have my fursuit...if i'm there i'll be the hot pink and black bunny

I want to go so so badly, it will be my first convention, I only recently became a furry, I am making my own fursuit to, but I can't get to Anthrocon, maybe I can try to find another convention that is closer to my area. Hopefully! x.x

Well, this has recently started to not look like the year for my first AC. My parents decided to surprise my sister and I with a promise of some sort of family vacation thing to celebrate something. So, that's basically going to eat up any time I was considering to take of for AC this year. We're not sure exactly when we're going, or even where. Should have more info on that end soon. However, if I'm doing that, there's just no way I'll be able to do a second con this year.

I was finally able to get everything booked this morning. Now I just have to find a decent camera to take with me.

I hope to see other member of Furtopia there or if possible we could have a meet up. I'll be wearing my Furtopia shirt for sure.

Rego booked. Hotel sorted, sadly i'll be in the lift lines at the Westin :|

Flights next. poor back pocket. but trying to organise a mad road trip with SK skunk which will be awesome! do all the not-so-touristy things in the US along the way

Since AC has expanded to more hotels and having broader events and location space, the elevator lines aren't as bad as they used to be I think. Just sometimes after a BIG main ballroom event it gets flooded.

I tried to book the marriot across the road like i got last year, but even my friend in a high place could not get anything there

Is the Marriot in cahoots with Anthrocon? Or would you be paying non-convention rates? Could be full due to baseball game??

Last I heard, the convention block had sold out just during the 'early reservation' period for the supersponsors. There were still rooms available at the hotel, but just oustide the convention block, and therefore not at the convention rate. Pretty lame, if you ask me. Why not negotiate for a larger block of the hotel?

I'm booked at DoubleTree, not exactly the Westin but I'm gonna be at Anthrocon! Courtyard was sold out and the Westin only had King Suites available last I checked.

One thing i wonder though is what hotels the AC shuttle will stop at.
