Only ever wrote one poem... here it is.
If everyone dies who would be left to tell the tale? It matters not, for they would have only themselves, to remind them of how they failed, failed to save their friends, their homes, themselves, again, and again, and again… but then when they fall, what is left? I'm not even sure if it counts as poetry or not, and it just wrote itself... i'm not even sure what to think of it. Judging by the fact that it's been a few months and nobody has responded, i take it that none of you know what to say ether.
