What are your favorite examples of your favorite tropes?
Let's keep it centered on the tropes we love, because it's so easy to get sidetracked talking about stuff you hate. Talk about what you do and don't like about the trope all you want, but list tropes that you like more than you dislike, know what I mean? I'll go first with a few of my favorites.
The Woobiehttp://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheWoobieWho doesn't love this one? To quote tv tropes: "The woobie is that character you want to give a big hug, wrap in a blanket and feed soup to when he or she suffers so very beautifully."
I feel this way about Akakiy Akakiyevich from

Perverse Asexual Cuddlusthttp://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PerverseAsexualCuddlelustIt's when you feel strongly attracted to someone, but with a strange lack of any sexual component. I feel this way about Susumu Hirasawa. I often wondered why I contentiously fail to have any lustful feelings towards this male musician with a gorgeous voice, and then I read this trope. I might also feel this way towards Data from Star Trek.
