This RP is a collab with Wise.

The story begins in the year 2217 in the seemingly idyllic steampunk city of Iterius which has been taken over by a tyrannical ruler and all it's citizens live under its iron fist. We are The Kings and Queens, a group of underground freedom fighters seeking to end this tyranny. We're a rather unique group of rebels most notably with our rank system resembling that of chess pieces each representing a different set of skills. We'll be doing everything from all out street fights to upscale casino heists.

Name: Isabella "Izzy"
Age: 23
Species: Rabbit
Piece: Black Queen
Weapons: steampunk-esque UMP45, dual tesla pistols, and a stun rod
Looks: stands 5'9", olive green-brown eyes, long messy brown hair, black fur, and multiple piercings in her ears.
Clothing: black duelist's pants and corset, burgundy red coat with coattails that says her name across the shoulders on the back in white cursive, and burgundy boots adorned with copper gears. Also wears a pair of goggles with a medical cross painted on the left eye.
Personality: A bit wild and unpredictable, rebellious and generally hates authority but is actually somewhat vulnerable given her problems. Is very defensive of her little sister Chanel.
Backstory: Izzy lost her parents at the age of 14 and the takeover followed soon thereafter. Seeking to end the tyranny that was slowly killing the beautiful city in her eyes, she is one of the founding five of The Kings and Queens. Absolutely unpredictable and ferocious in battle, her recklessness did eventually cost her one of her eyes which she now covers with her goggles.

Looks: stands 5'7", brown hair kept in a ponytail, brown eyes, black fur with a few white patches
Clothing: olive green corset over a white button-down shirt, olive green skirt with black stockings, black boots adorned with lace and silver gears, a silver heart pendant.
Personality: Calm, quiet, and reserved. Has an unspoken strength about her but is kind if you can strike up a conversation with her.
Backstory: Grew up under her big sister Izzy's care after her parents died when she was 9. When the Kings and Queens were founded, Chanel was rather young but began training and shortly after her 18th birthday she was inducted as a knight.

Name: Blades Tavare
Age: 19
Species: Raccoon (20% Wolf)
Piece: White King
Weapons: steampunk-esque M1911s, LS41 shredder (XM8 for reference), combat knife with a one-shot pepperbox built into the handle.
Looks: stands 6'3", emerald green eyes, bright blue tribals over the left side of his face, torso, and left arm, unusually long and bushy tail, mechanical right arm, wolfish teeth, tall and lanky but broad shouldered.
Clothing: Dark green combat boots adorned with straps and silver gears, black duelist's pants, black button front shirt with a black and dark green biker vest which says Viva La Vida across the back, and dark goggles.
Personality: Hot-headed and arrogant at times but is usually kind, smart, and friendly if not a little shy.
Backstory: Blades lost his father to the uprising as well as his right arm in the process of fighting his father's assailant. He eventually helped found The King and Queens after roughly a year of hiding with his mother. He stepped up as king after the original king went missing.

Weapons: basic water magic and healing magic, armor gauntlets (left gauntlet has a small built in shield and the right gauntlet has a sharp rotating gear), a four-barrel sawed off, and two bonesaw blades that attach to her shield
Looks: stands 5'6", White fur with light purple on her chest, light brown eyes, raven black hair cut chin-length
Clothing: white and brown strapless knee length corset dress with a slit up the left side of the skirt, torn up white jeans, and a protective vest.
Personality: shy and quiet, but rather intelligent and tactful for her age.

Age: 18
Species: Hyena
Piece: Black Pawn
Weapons: A sword along his back that also acts as a chainsaw. Lemat revolver.
Looks: Stands at about 5'11", with a red mohawk on his head about 4-5 inches high. Standard coat for hyenas. Bright blue eyes.
Clothing: Black t-shirt with brown cargo pants. Wears grey tennis shoes for a lighter and faster run.
Personality: Can be shy at times when faced against his superiors, however is extremely loyal. He isn't very social with the lack of friends he's ever had, but contains a fighting spirit like no other. He tends to want to prove himself so he can feel self accomplishment from the approval of his superiors.

Age: 22-24
Species: Wolf (10% fox)
Piece: White Knight
Weapons: Two steel polished short swords with a silenced pistol (that tends to jam on him every now and again).

Personality: Very quiet at times when he is either thinking or is keeping himself out of trouble. He is very confident in his abilities and will always accept a challenge no matter the odds.

Oh my, forgot to point out Izzy and Blades' piece colors. Blades is the White King so there is openings for the White Queen and the Black King.

In terms of magic, on a scale from novice to master...adept with one or two expert level spells tossed in.

Species: Dire-Wolf
Piece: White Rook
Weapons: Carries a duel modified assault rifle with a twin barrel flame thrower on it. (flame thrower pressure occasionally leaks resulting in a shorter flame.) The rifle has a 45 round mag and is modified for most ammo types.
Looks: 6'7" 187lb. Has ice grey fur with stormy blue eyes and a burn scar on the bottom part of his left jaw leading to his throat.

Personality: A bit of a wild card, doesn't like to follow orders very much. If he thinks his plan is better he will run it himself. Is usually in things for himself. Very distrusting of people and his loyalty can be occasionally bought.
Backstory: Doesn't remember anything of his parents. All he really remembers is a series of bad mistakes that landed him running with the last people on earth he ever expected to be helping. Used to be a smuggler because it was easy and good money however during one of his trade offs he was set up by an Ex King and Queens member. That encounter left Jacques with no job, the scar on his face, and undying hatred in his heart. Having spent most of his life hunting down the Ex member he was devastated to find him already dead by the time he got to him. After his vengeance being stolen he wandered around and eventually found himself in The Kings and Queens. He fights because he's ordered to but has ulterior motives.

Name: Markus "short" Henry
Age: 16
Species: red fox
Piece: Black Bishop
 Weapons: never uses guns. The electrical energy moving throught him cooks the powder, instead he uses more subtle arms, like daggers or some throwing knives. Can use electrical energy, harnessing and storing within his body to use as a form of weaponry or to enhance others bodies. Can harness the powers of ice to a lesser degree.
Looks: kinda tall for his age at nearly 5 and a half feet. His spiky orange hair sometimes sparks with electricity when he is really energetic or pumped up. He is covered with a semi smooth coat of clean red fur that looks dirty only because the static charge running through it that causes it to stick out in places. He has green eyes and seems thin but muscular.
 Clothing: a pair of faded baggy jeans and a simple metal necklace shaped like a sword. He prefers to go shirtless when able but will wear lose shirts when forced. Always carries around a set of playing cards and dice.
Personality: generally tricky and creative. Kind but rather unhelpful or even cold some of the time. He focuses on getting a job done rather than the means at wich is needs to be done.
Backstory: he trained as a Rogue for a while before discovering his talent for electrical manipulation. Before that he was a troublesome child and ended up on the streets. He noticed many things out there and decided to join up to change it. He learned some rogue skills but turned to magics later. He focused on the energy flowing through every living thing, electricity. He learned to see, and control it to some degree.

Weapons: Unlike his fellow black bishop, the Archmage has mastered a more complete understanding of the arcane art, though while he is no match for his fellow bishop's skill in electric magicks, his arsenal is more comprehensive, with arcane energies, the elements, and a minor degree of scrying
Looks: Dark grey fur with incandescent blue runes on his chest and arms, his eyes are blue, and his hair is white.
