Appearance: A scar on either side of his face, starting somewhat above his eye, and moving downward, going over the corner of his eyes. Eyes are stained a bloody red in the corners, where the scars pass over the eyes. Backside of body stained blood red, the color spans his entire wingspan, up to the back of his head and down to tail feathers.
Backstory: Born in the Forest Kingdom of Tyto, he awoke one day, a mere 2 months old, to his parents struggling to defend their nest from a small group of Pure Ones. His entire family died that night, except for him. In a blind rage, he attacked the Pure Ones, only to be easily subdued. He awoke in the custody of the Pure Ones, and was raised as their soldier. He spent most of his life with them, knowing only that he wanted to leave. He actually had a decent living in the Pure Ones; he had a mate, a fairly high ranking position, even a clutch of eggs on the way. Then, he simply flew off, in the middle of the day, never to be seen by the Pure Ones again...

Species of Owl: Spotted Owl
Appearance: Fairly standard for a Spotted Owl.
Backstory: She was raised in Ambala, like any normal chick. She had a great life in her birth nest, and she eventually left, to go find a mate. She had always been very friendly and helpful. So, of course, when she saw the Barn Owl covered in blood flying past her hollow, she flew up to ask if he was ok. Rivena was also quite stubborn, and, after having told her to go away for the eighth time, Ansin simply gave up, and told her the truth. Rivena, being intrigued by this owl, stayed with Ansin.
