A fur could be heard laughing behind you in the shadows as he clicked off the vid.
"What that vid fails to mention is the outskirts of the city, the slums, the ghetto, the whatever you want to call it. A beautiful city surrounded by waste." The fur began laughing again sarcastically.
You hate to admit it, but both the fur and the vid are correct. A look out the window to your right revealed Kristal City, The Glowing metropolis, Known as such for all it's bright lights creating essentially a 'never ending' day inside; consumed your entire field of vision. All sorts of colour littered the skyline, electric blues and lighting purples from the neon lights and white, gold, purple, and red adorned the most prominent buildings. Their colour insensified by the lights and builds slathered in reflective windows.
A look to the left however brought in a much more dismal view. A view of worn down rusted Warehouses, the kind you would have went to a rave at in highschool, now housed multiple families. Crumbling apartments of bland concrete and steel, home to gangs, prostitutes and other maladies of the night. It became obvious real quick why those buildings were pushed so far out from the city.
"Your probably wondering what any of that has to do with you, I would say nothing, but.....for all I know you grew up and lived in that stain of an environment." He pointed out the left window. "Or maybe you caught a break and managed to find someplace in the city." All you could see was him point to the right and a sly dark grin plastering his face. "They're to die for." He clicked his tongue as he walked around the dimly lit room. "No what matters now, is that your here in my...'Interview Room'...just don't bring a blacklight.." He chuckled at his joke. "What matters is how are you going to serve EmpireCorp. Will you be a go getter such as myself, or a nameless faceless body in a ditch somewhere." You could here metal creak as he opened a door behind you. "The choice is yours. Oh, you start tomorrow."
