People will slowly integrate technology directly into their bodies.

People would actually be able to fully become machines. Becoming both immortal and dead simultaneously.

If only...

Humanity will eventually be able to easily access the resources within the periphery of our solar system and eliminate the problem of scarcity.

Fursuits will become more common, and more realistic, and more of a fashion statement than a personal hobby item. Dressing up as a fearsome creature as an effort to intimidate others will supplant tatoos, baggy pants, and badly-worn baseball caps. Each state, with the exceptions of Delaware, and the New England states will host up to 4 furry cons each year.

You may be able to obtain your own personal robot helper/companion. Plus the robot may be customized with any number of "skins" to make it appear as a historic figure, past celebrity/sports figure--or even a furry character, if desired.

In an emergency, the robot could be dispatched to summon help. In case the owner is a suspect in a capital crime, authorities may access audio and visual files to authenticate any alibi.
