How could anyone even kind of see this as funny??  >:(   First off, why are the barrels just lying around out there to begin with? Don't most people store them somewhere else like, say, a garage?  Second, those bears are probably getting major brain damage among other things because they are doing that. Why are they doing it? They don't know any better! Bears are pretty smart in general, but we doubt they know what fuel is and why they shouldn't be smelling it like they are.
We're kinda used to people being ignorant, but this is more than a little over the top for us. Sorry for the mini-rant, we just can't stand this kind of stuff.

I can't stand it either, and the fact that nothing will be done only makes it worse

Yeah but still, they still have conservation programmes and such, just because it isn't their top priority doesn't mean they can ignore it, like many things.

I am both shocked and extremely confused. This is mine only comment on the subject

475 consecutive last stands. Funny how that happens, huh?

A 'Solus Cat' is my evolution on my older species, the Hreldren. But better.

It's tragic they don't  put the barrels in a enclosure.
Or at least burn the bit of fuel that's left in the barrels.

Makes one wonder if they leave antifreeze laying about.

You can be sure it's bad for the bears health.  >:(

Some people just don't care, and yes it is bad for their health, it causes brain damage  :(

(P.S. i just finished my polar bear officer, it needs 1 or 2 corrections and colouring but i quite like it, it only took an hour or so. Here it is: http://forums.furtopia.org/index.php?topic=45847.0)

EDIT: i posted the wrong link, fixed now.
