you see its this guy. who looks like a human but is not and he has a time machine and he does stuffs usually with a very confusing plot line ex:

actually im not going to try to explain the plot it is to confusing you just have to watch it. but it is great. ( how would it last 50 years if it wasn't)

I don't like Matt Smith or the new scriptwriter, the new stories are just way too childish and cheesy now for me :P

I'm... Amazed,  honestly.  To me it seemed like Steven Moffat has spent the past 3 season fixing all the gaping plot holes Russell T Davies made,  and fixed all of the areas where the story was boxing itself in.   The show is generally more light-hearted,  sure.  It is still a kid's show.  But,  it's also so much more well thought out.  x.x

No spoilers,  but even the 50th was fixing gigantic plot holes caused in the first 4 seasons of the reboot and setting the show up to actually still have somewhere to go in season 8.

Show has come a long way from slitheen fart jokes, gigantic cybermen walking around Victorian London,  and using daleks,  the cybermen,  the master,  or some combination for EVERY finale or season opener.

Hmmm, I suppose they were boxing themselves in a little come to think of it, but I always thought of it as a family thing, enjoyable for all ages rather than a child thing. it just seems a bit too childish sometimes. But I do think you are right in that it may not have had anywhere to go soon. ^_^
