Consumer Electronics show
« on: January 06, 2015, 12:09:51 pm »
It's time for the consumer electronics show again. Wearable electronics, audio, video,
smart phones, control your house, car, and most everything else.  :D

Here is a link showing whats in store for the future in years past and now.

Why is it we can make all these "smart" gadgets, but we can't make "smart" people to use them correctly.  :P

I'm still waiting for the gadgets that will shut up a barking dog, make screaming noisy little kids behave, and make a housewife stop "nagging".  :P

Every time I hear about "smart" technology, it reminds me of this:

 :P

One thing that I can never understand is why there needs to be an "app" for nearly everything? For example, do you really need an app on your smartphone to remind you when to feed your dog? Get real, people.

What's worse is if the internet or cellphone system was to fail I wonder how long
it would take people to learn how to live without them. After all do we think or do we
depend on our electronic devices instead?

We should remember it would only take one huge Solar storm to wreck our power, and
communication systems.   :o
