Title: Sig sizes getting out of hand
Post by: Savaaha on October 25, 2008, 07:42:29 pm
Just a reminder to all to please reset your signatures to the correct sizes. We have had quite a few members adding  images that are too big and multiple images that are to big. Please also limit chickensmoothie adoptables  to 1 per sig as they are pretty big once grown.. Signatures that are not edited my be edited/removed by the staff.

Quote
8. a. The images in signatures can be no bigger than 240 pixels wide by 120 pixels high in total.  This size limit is for all images combined, not just for individual images. This is done for the sake of modem users' bandwidth since they have enough to download as it is with the board pages and related graphics. Additionally, it becomes very ungainly to see a large picture repeated several times down the page that contains any given thread. We recommend using the larger image as your personal photograph in your profile instead.

Note: Some signature services (such as Sloganizer.net) generate images that are too big.  If you use a generated signature, please make sure it is within limits.

thanks
